My husband and I commissioned Misty to paint us a large piece of art for our living room. We could not be more pleased with how the painting turned out. Misty asked a number of questions up front, and we loved how she ran with our ideas and made them materialize. When she was finished and she hung the art we had a few afterthought wishes, and Misty even took some extra time to add the finalized touches that we wanted. Misty impressed me immediately with her engaging personality, sense of style and willingness to listen to what I was looking for. She took the time to figure out what style I was going for and the budget I was looking at. Misty was able to quickly put together a plan and get my place feeling like a home. After the basics were taken care of, she pulled the place together and gave it the feel I was looking for. What’s your interior design process?
*consultation- measurements, photos, and questionnaire *initial presentation- floorplan, mood board, selections for space, fabric and finish swatches *fine tune- re selection of some items clients did not care for from first presentation *ordering- generating purchase orders and invoices for items *tracking- tracking shipments and keeping customer updated, tracking progress of contractors *delivery- orchestrating delivery of pieces *implementaion and styling- arranging furniture, placing accessories *photoshoot- photography of project and brief interview to ensure you're please with end result
Which interior design styles can you cater for?
I particularly love eclectic clean looks however I can implement any design style.
What do you love most about your job?
Helping create spaces that increase my clients rest and productivity.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have always enjoyed decorating even as a child I had a little notebook where I would makeup design inspiration boards and floor plans of my room. This naturally led into me attending school for interior design and then working in 2 high end furniture showrooms where I was able to hone my skills doing in home consulting etc.
Why should our clients choose you?
I design bachelor pads for the guy that works hard and plays hard who deserves to have the home he’s earned.
