We hired Missy Pitt Interiors to provide a remodel of our living room, eat-in kitchen space, and to provide assistance with new flooring and paint selection to adjust the color scheme for the entire main level of our home. From the first meeting and throughout the project, she was so professional and her communication was outstanding. She stayed within the scope and budget we established and exceeded our expectations in her quality of work. The results of her design were the perfect blend of casual and elegance, trendy but with classic appeal for longevity, cohesive color scheme, family and pet friendly, and comfortable but posh! She gave us the confidence to take some design risks to get us out of our comfort zone and we are so happy we enlisted her design expertise because the transformation is beyond what we ever dreamed! The living room is gorgeous and the personal touch with the hand drawn watercolor maps of our favorite places displayed by the kitchen table are so unique and have been a great conversation piece. Missy Pit Interiors
Missy Pit was contacted in early January and asked to come for an interview. We were in need of an interior decorator as we wanted to completely redo our 1370 sq. ft. condominium. We were going to need someone to remove the carpeting from the bedrooms and lay down wood. We needed a painter to repaint the entire inside. Then we needed to replace pictures with new pictures, wall coverings, shelves, curtain rods and curtains. The result of the sit down was for Missy to return with a proposal. We provided a somewhat detailed list of what we wanted to change and a floor plan of the condo. Later we accepted Missy's proposal and began a four and one half month journey. As the floors and paint were being completed Missy and my wife were working on a complete redo of the interior. Between the two of them there was a considerable amount of effort expended on the project. Some things Missy liked and some things we liked. It was a total group effort. Missy constantly kept us up to date on what was coming next and how our budget was doing. She purchased everything, stored it till it was time to install and did most of the installation. The best part of the project was the communication. We would text each other and if we liked the item it was purchased. She would constantly show us what was going on which wall. If once the item was put on the wall and it did not look good to us Missy would return said item.
