Mission Paradise Banquet Hall

I attended a private gathering here last month, and the management and staff were all great. The waiters continuously cleared our tables and the management handled all our last minute AV needs. Some members of our party were getting way too rowdy and out of hand. Management was patient with us and gave us so many warnings. Mateen Karimy in particular was great. He kept saying that he wanted to continue to host our party and make sure everyone was having a great time but asked us to please settle down. I appreciated the way he approached the situation and how he communicated with me.Thank you Mateen and the rest of the workers here. I recently had a company party here and I loved it. The hall is huge they were able to set up different boots. They had a  photo booth, casino games and a dessert bar. Where to start about this banquet hall? We are so excited to be using such a beautiful hall for our daughter's special day. We booked over a year ago and coordinating with the friendly staff has made our planning so smooth. Walking in blind to party planning is scary, but with the help from staff we have been provided with additional great vendors for decorations, DJ and Photographer. We were provided the opportunity to come to several tastings to narrow down our menu. We have gone with the traditional Mexican menu.  All were delicious and most important feel good food. Our even is days away our daughter has been able to have full access to hall to practice with her Quince court during the week.  Being able to practice at the hall has helped the kids feel more confident about their dance routine. Great place for a wedding reception. Shasta and Naz were very helpful and considerate throughout the process in planning my event. The place looks so elegant, i got a lot of compliments. The staff are very friendly as well. I met the owner of the venue on the night of my event, they are very nice as well. I ordered my appetizers from them (chips and salsa, vegetable rolls, chicken wings) which is very tasty and my guest said that they're salsa is the best. I had my wedding at Mission Paradise on 5/26. I started planning my wedding 1.5 years before my wedding. This was not my originally venue. Honestly, if I would of found Mission Paradise 1.5 years ago.. I would of booked it. Due to the rain, I had to move my wedding venue 3 days before my wedding. Lucky for me- there was a cancellation and I was able to take over the contract. Salad went out of her way to help us pull it all together. We was flexible with my caterer and decorations vendors. All the guests was shock at how beautiful the venue is in the inside. From the outside it doesn't look like a wedding venue but once you walk into the door.. it's amazing! Everything from the size of the room to the bridal suite, restroom and bar.. there was so much space for my 300 guests. I am so so grateful that we found this venue. I had an outside caterer. From booking to event, every step of the process was hassle free and professional!  My family and I held an event at the Queen Hall, which is the smaller venue, perfect for a group of 70.  The  set-up and decor was elegant, the service was amazing, and the food was plentiful and delicious.  Party planning has never been easier than calling Mission Paradise.  They practically handled every step - and that left room for us to enjoy so much of our process and event! I must say, I grew up in this neighborhood & remember when this spot used to be a bar. I'd never been in the inside of it, or attended an event here. Recently, we held a memorial service for a family member. When we went to check out the hall, right away I thought the inside was quite lovely (large hall). It had good lighting--even adjustable color, seemed well kept, facilities were clean. We then had a tasting to decide on menu. I must say, @ the tasting I wasn't greatly impressed. It wasn't bad, wasn't awesome. It would do. My only fear is that in some of these halls, I've had friends who were given 1 thing @ the tasting, picked out the menu, only to receive subpar food @ the event. I have to say, I was happily surprised when our event came, and I finally walked into the buffet/banquet room and actually saw the food the day of the event--it exceeded the quality of the tasting by far! Many of the guests also paid complements to some of the dishes --try the Beef birria.Bottom line: they delivered, the hosts were very polite, the food was better the day of the event, everyone had a great time, and it was a great VALUE honestly for what you're getting. I celebrated my engagement party here and I feel like that was the best decision I made. The hall is beautiful and has a lot of space. The stage, the ceiling and different colors of lighting makes this place perfect spot for any event. Also the staff is very accommodating and friendly. Shahesta and Naz have been very helpful throughout the whole preparation process by referring vendors. Obviously, food is amazing too. I will definitely use them again. When it was time to find a venue for my wedding,  we looked all over the Bay area.  When we walked in Mission paradise,  we knew immediately we had found the right place. . From start to finish, the entire staff was   amazing! We were treated with kindness and professionalism the entire year (yes, it took me a year to plan) we dealt with Mission Paradise and would highly suggest anyone looking for a venue for an unforgettable evening,  to look no further!!Both Naz* and Shashta*, made what would normally be a super stressful part of big event planning, a pleasurable experience and I would definitely use and suggest their services for any upcoming event.  The food was excellent,  and enough of a variety to feed even the most particular diets.Everyone who attended had a great time and were definitely impressed. For decades we have had our events held at Mission paradise and it has always been memorable.  Mr. Kamal  has always helped make them run smooth without and problems. His friendly interactions with our guests have always made it easy  to rebook each time.  A year ago, he told us we will see changes to the hall, and we sure did.  The hall looks beautiful and spacious with the new stage for the bride and groom. This is a lovely, no, beautiful place for weddings or other grand affairs. Has kitchen, area, with an excellent buffet room that easily acommodates two pfast movinng lines. Dance floor, dtage and lots of room to the sides for cakes, gifts, kidde coral, whatever. An elevated side stage for your band too. Only 4 stars as there is only one dressing area so men snd women have to tske turns. Part of the adjacent hall by the ladies room should be made into a small room. Also the signage is terrible. I knew it was in the shopping center but couldn't find it. The sign is way up high. Not like the storefronts. Also have to figure out to go through the breezeway to the main door. Then low and behold there is netter parking in the back! But no sign.Nevertheless the stsff is profesional, helpful, and we all had a very very good time in beautiful surroundings. More...

Had my engagement party here! WoW! Absolutely stunning is all I can say. The lighting variety with the drapery on the ceiling was gorgeous. This was an Afghan event and the food was one of the best that I had experienced, far better then the local restaurants. Most of all, the size of the hall the setup was perfect for a 250-325 size party. We had plenty of space to roam around but also still have that intimate feel. The price is definitely affordable and far better for value then any other hall in Northern California. I would highly recommend this place. More...

I had my doubts. Although this banquet isn't in the ideal/picturesque location ever -- let me just cut to the chase, it's next to Rite Aid and Sonics is right in front of it --- the inside is gorgeous. It was not what I expected at all. The hall had mood lighting which was set to match the wedding theme, the ceiling was draped with sheer fabric, and all the linens were provided. Food was great as well despite it being a buffet dinner. The rice pilaf, pineapple chicken and roast beef were tasty and far better than some of the entrees I've had at fancier weddings set in a hotel. Mission Paradise Buffet is adjacecent to the MIssion Paradise Hall off of Mission in the Fairway Park shopping center. They have a great Afghani buffet selection, like Qabuly (sorry if i spelt it wrong. ...orange rice dish with raisens), Leek and or potato Bulani, Chapli Kebab! Awesome...me and my coworkers (stemming from white, spanish to asian) love this place! And we don't have to go all the way to fremont. I believe its better than Afghan Village. Beautiful victorian setting decorated in elegance. They do parties, weddings, corporate celebrations, you name it. They can serve up to 500 people and their meals are beautifully catered.
