After the lengthy process of gathering estimates and thorough background checking, my husband and I chose Mission Home Remodeling to help us renovate our kitchen, living room and 3 bathrooms. Of the half dozen candidates we had come to our house, we picked Matt who was clearly an echelon above the rest in the areas we find important. He was attentive to our vision and really listened to what we wanted, and explained the process from demolition to completion in detail. We bought a fixer-upper in SF. We didn't realize how much work and planning it would actually require to bring it to living conditions (let alone to a condition we would enjoy living in). Gladly I was referred to Dan and Matan by a good friend who did a pretty significant remodel as well. They were able to walk me through the process step by step. They really know how to deal with San Francisco City, which was a huge bonus, because it seemed like every other contractor we spoke with really had no idea or was not willing to. The remodel went surprisingly smooth. I've heard all the nightmares of contractors in the Bay Area and been through a pretty bad experience myself in the past. We remodeled 2 full bathrooms (one was an addition and it came out REALLY beautiful). The kitchen came out really great as well. I love to cook so the kitchen was super important for me. We worked with Sarah, the company's main designer, and she pointed us to nice cabinets and a beautiful new island countertop. Overall, I had a really great experience with the Mission Home Remodeling team and will gladly recommend their services to my loved ones. More...

No need to look any further! Working with Matan and his team was a very positive experience. This is the most creative contractor out there! We needed to gain more space in our home, and without breaking the bank. Matt was the project manager and he was very professional, knowledgeable, and easy to get along with from the very beginning (which is especially great when it comes to remodeling in San Francisco). We had our 2 bathrooms done simultaneously, and from working with Sarah the designer, all the way to final inspection, customer service was A++. Â Matt was almost always available to translate my concerns to the foreman and workmen, if necessary, and if he wasn't, he made sure to follow-up in a timely manner. I have a very old house in San Francisco and went through a nightmare remodel a few years back with a different contractor who had no idea of how to work in these types of homes. I Needed to get a new garage ADU project finished. Naturally I was very skeptical of contractors and it took me a YEAR of interviews! When Matt came by to give me an estimate I felt very comfortable with him, his proposal, and the way the company works. I'm glad I waited so long to pick a contractor because this experience was completely different. Got referred to Bay Home Renovation by my neighbor. I saw the work they did in their kitchen, loved the attention to detail, and scheduled an appointment with Matt the project manager. Matt (Matan) was able to walk me through the project top to bottom. BHR's team helped me through the plans and permitting process as we had to remove a load bearing wall, and took me to a few vendors for kitchen cabinets. Although definitely not on the cheaper side, the communication and attention to detail is worth every penny. I love my new kitchen/ living room and am glad I picked Matt and Bay Home Renovation to do my project! More...

I am so happy with my new master bathroom! Wasn't really sure what to do, but my shower was really small (my house is from 1906), but I knew I wanted a bigger shower. Bay Home Renovation's design team had a great idea for expanding the size of my bathroom, and they executed with an overall great job. Due to the pandemic I Â decided to move my family to San Diego. Had to update and freshen up my Russian Hill condo before selling. So glad we chose Matan and Bay Home Renovation. The design team helped us choose reasonably priced material that's IN STOCK! Finally got to move into our fully remodelled home in Orinda, after 4 months of construction. While on escrow, we had already contacted a few companies, and Bay Home Renovation stood out. Matan came to our house, and walked us through his ideas and thoughts about our renovation and how we could get as much done before moving in, being cost effective and timely. We couldn't be happier with our decision moving forward with Bay Home Renovation for our project. The project took a little longer than we expected, but it was mostly due to waiting for materials (our vendor made a mistake). We redid the floors for our house, remodelled our kitchen and master bathroom. We also added a small bedroom in the back of our house. We did our master bathroom remodel with Bay Home Renovation. Matan was very informative and communicative from the beginning which is the reason we chose BHR. Overall we are super satisfied with our decision! We were promised a time line of 4-6 weeks and the project was done in 4. Workers were here daily. The work was clean and efficient. Working with the design team was very helpful as we didn't know which direction we wanted to go.
