Misfits Dog Training

This board and train program is a comprehensive 3-week program that covers off-leash recall, off-leash heel, place command, sit-stay, down-stay, proper greetings, house manners and any other specific problem behaviors that need to be addressed. This is our most popular program and establishes the kind of training needed to be able to take your dog virtually anywhere. All of our programs take place in the comfort of our home on our 35-acre farm and come with one year of unlimited support (that means unlimited private in-home training, too!).

If your dog barks and lunges at other dogs and/or people on leash, this is the program for your dog! A reactive dog needs structure and guidance which can be taught and provided in a comprehensive 3/4-week board and train program. This program includes obedience training like house manners, heel, place command, sit-stay, down-stay and recall. This also includes engagement-building and a tailored approach to your dog's specific type of reactivity. All of our programs take place in the comfort of our home on our 35-acre farm and come with one year of unlimited support (that includes unlimited private in-home training, too!).

We focus on re-building the relationship between you and your dog to ensure it's based on mutual respect, so even the basics include a high level of life-long change in your dog. It's important with private training to make sure you have the time to work with your dog to ensure long-term results. This program is a package of 4 lessons that usually take place once a week.

If you're looking for an advanced level of dog training and you're ready to dedicate time each day to your dog's training, this is the program for you. We focus on re-building the relationship between you and your dog to ensure it's based on mutual respect, so this program doesn't just cover obedience but also an overall behavior change. It's important with private training to make sure you have the time to work with your dog to ensure long-term results. This program is a package of 5 lessons that usually take place once a week. We will cover off-leash training as well as any specific problem behaviors.
