My wife and I recently celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary here and were very pleased. She had the fresh catch (ahi) with risotto, and I had the rack of lamb with fresh green beans and mushrooms. We shared a beet and greens salad. All three dishes were delicious, and the sauces on the main dishes made you want to lick the plate. Fresh warm bread was included. A climb up stairs to Mi's on the roof is worth the effort for a wonderful dining experience. (There is an elevator too) They have indoor dining be the real dining room is the open air roof top looking out over Kona bay and the ocean. If you time it right you might also get a sunset. What a great hidden little jem. Tucked away on the second floor with view of the ocean. If you can ask to sit rail side and your above and next to the ocean while eating a fantastic meal. All meals were hot, plentiful and out of this world. This is a must visit place if on the Kona coast. More...

Best Italian food on the island! We started with the calamari and it was very good. My husband and parents had the pappardelle beef pasta and they enjoyed it. The dish was light and full of flavor. I enjoyed the chicken parmesan. The chicken breast was cut into thin slices, which was nice. I don't care for huge pieces of chicken breast for this dish. The spinach in between the layers was perfect. The side of pasta was nice. You could add as much or as little marinara as you wanted. I wish I had this dish in front of me right now! It was so good.
