Mindful Marketing Strategies

I contacted Mindful Marketing about a year ago. My accounting firm generally gets new business from our existing client base, but we wanted to see if there was a way to get new clients to grow out our network. Although we had a reasonable budget, we couldn't hire a full-time marketing team. After a discussion with the owner, we agreed to have them work on our marketing plans. The nice part was we got an experienced and educated team (apparently everyone has a college degree and the management team has an MBA), at a fraction of a cost of hiring one in house. The plan that was set for us was different than what we initially had in mind. They advised against starting with Social Media, and quickly created a PR campaign for us to drive people to our website. Then we started buying limited advertising to bring in paid traffic. They setup some tracking mechanism that showed us how people found us, and how each campaign was performing. I'm not exactly a marketer, but I totally understood the information. I guess what I liked about their approach is that they didn't just take our money and do "marketing". Their name says it all. I spoke to a few local marketing agencies and everyone was pitching either their high-end service or a canned service. The team at Mindful Marketing created a proposal that was very specific to my business (physician). They revamped my website, co-managed my Facebook and Twitter accounts, and did our SEO so we ranked higher than our competition in our local area. They also discouraged us from some of the paid advertising channels as it didn't show much positive result. We did end up doing Yelp for a trial period and looks like we may be sticking with it. We especially enjoyed our experience working with Mindful Marketing. In fact, we started receiving consulting services from Payam Tehrani at Mindful Marketing when our business first launched in 2012. Since our business operates within the healthcare space, interfacing with patients (or, regular people who didn't go to medical school), it was a daunting task to create compelling content sourced from medical journals to educate our patient base. This is where Mindful Marketing came in and made life SO EASY!

They took a look at the content we had, put it into context of our broader marketing strategy (which they helped us formulate), and then broke down the process in steps and milestones that made sense. On top of that, they followed through with said milestones with content that was just amazing! Easy to understand, and compelling. That is not easy when it comes to complicated medical text.
