Brian was very kind, curteous, and very professional. He was able to tell us everything from little things that he suggests we fix to major high ticket items. Luckily for us there was only one high ticket item and we never would have known it if it wasn't for him. We were told that our water heater was replaced in 2016 but Brian figured out it was still the original from 2001! I cannot say enough about Brian and am very happy with the service. We are first time home buyers and he put us at ease and let us ask as many questions as we wanted, always gave us answers and even showed us the stuff he was talking about to make sure we understood. I am extremely please with our inspection from Homesight. Brian and Chris were not only friendly but very thorough with our inspection. They pointed out things we would not have even noticed as well as answer all of our question. This was our first home inspection and we couldn't have been happier with the experience. The company sent not just one, but two inspectors which allowed them to spend extra time going through the house. Further, they showed up early and had already started inspecting the roof and exterior of the home before we even got there. They took the time to explain what they were looking at, any problems that they found, and how we would go about addressing any issues. Also, they were willing and happy to answer any and all questions that my fiance and I had. They also took extra time to show us things that all first-time home buyers should know such as where emergency shut off valves are and how to change furnace filters etc. We felt confident moving forward with buying our home and will be recommending this company to anyone we know who is looking for a home inspector. Homesight did a great job with the inspection. During the home inspection process, we had electricians installing 200 amp service, which required that the power be shut off at a certain time. Homesight worked around this, switching their process to do all of the electrical tests first. The report we were given was clear with good explanations and quality photographs that will allow us to work through the issues after we move in. Mark and Chris with Homesight were awesome! Mark was the primary inspector and Chris was training with him. Our inspection was scheduled for 8am, but by the time I arrived at 7:55am they had already done the grounds and the roof. We are first time home buyers, and they were great about explaining everything so we would understand the final inspection report, and also what things were simple fixes versus bigger concerns.
