Go for the jumbo Bavarian pretzel, stay for the plethora of beers! They always seem to be playing excellent music, lots of seating- at the bar and table seating. The Reuben sandwich with tots was delicious, really good cheese curds, great brats! More...

What a great place! Our waiter had a great sense of humor, provided excellent service, and answered every question we had. The cheese curds were very good but a little too greasy. The giant pretzel was indeed amazingly giant and very tasty. The three sauces they give you for dipping were very good. The potato salad that came with the brats we ordered (which were excellent) was THE best potato salad I've ever had (sorry Mom!). It's worth getting by itself as a side. The beer choices were decent and good-priced. They come in a pair of 8 ounce mugs instead of one 16 ounce mugs, which was pretty unique. To top everything off, they have a free shuttle that takes you back and forth to the Brewers game, and you can take your beer with you in plastic cups! We also got a couple of awesome free coozies. This bar had a great selection of apps, brats, and burgers. Everything our group got was delicious! Decent beer list. They also seemed to be the only one on the block with the kitchen still open when we got back from an extra innings game!

Lovely place with a view of the street. I recommend the tiger style chicken wings with a glass of Milwaukee's notorious Spotted Cow. The day I visited, they had a 3 dollar special on shots of whiskey and brandy. The Bratwurst and Lakefront IPA beer cheese soup are lethal and will put you right in the mood for a few more glasses of alcohol just to keep the mood going. More...

Its not fair how good this place is. Great selection of beer. They serve most drafts in 2 half pint glasses so you can share 1 beer with a loved one or partner. You can drink a half pint before it gets warm. Then order another beer. How genius is that? And the food is amazing. They serve the Usinger brats on pretzel buns. The night I went they had a $2 brat special. $2 for a brat on a pretzel bun? How can you beat that? You can’t! Its just not fair! They offer a shuttle to the Brewers games. Overall service was awesome... But the brat platter was to die for! Not a sauerkraut kind of German here, I know lol, but the extra onions, mushrooms and peppers were a great compliment to the spicy brown mustard that I covered each succulent sausage in. Took a short day trip to Milwauke while visiting some family in Indiana. Decided to stop here. Service wasn't the best, pretty slow, but still a very enjoyable experience with great drinks and brats. Would recommend.

This review is for both Milwaukee Brat Houses since I’ve at both locations.
Milwaukee: Good food and nice servers. Tried their cheese curds and they are ranked #1 cheese curds in Milwaukee for me right now.
Service can be a little slow sometimes, but it’s not the end of the world.
Shorewood: I love the $2 burgers on Monday, an excellent deal with great value. Their burgers are very high on my favorite burger list. I was a little disappointed in the spice level for the ghost pepper cheese. I thought it was too mild. If you can kick up the heat on that cheese it would be fantastic.
It’s definitely a great place to grab good food with a beer. I try to go to these places often!

Wow had read on line this place has a special for lunch Monday thru Friday 11-2 and it was very good. The special is buy a beer and get a free sausage sandwich with side for free. On old world 3rd street.. The place to go after. ( or during Marquette.. Or Bucks..or Brewers ..or Packers games. ) very good food.
. Outdoor seating. One of the best down town spots. Great data..friend and prompt. Why go anywhere else... And they have an excellent fish fry..and their brats speak for themselves... The food here was very delicious. A true Milwaukee experience. I utilized and recommend the create your own menu. It features 5 sausages, over ten toppings, and several cheeses for endless combinations of savory goodness. I got a Polish dog with bacon and mozzarella cheese with the best cheese curds I've had in my limited time in Wisconsin. Others in my group got a brat, chicken wings, a spicy Hungarian dog, and a burger. All were impressed and extremely satisfied. The curds we're so good that we had to get a second round because the first order lasted less than three minutes. I also found the service to be friendly and good.
