Love the food here! I grew up eating Kosher foods and Oregon doesn't have any place that's Kosher. So every time I visit family in Cali we go and I gorge. They have matzah ball chicken soup, cornbeef, pastrami, beef tongue, pickled green tomatoes, the best Kosher pickles, smoked white fish, sable, lox, knishes, pastries to die for, and all though I have to be gluten free I found gluten free brownies there! There's so much good food to choose from!They REALLY NEED to open a place in Oregon (Hey Milton's, we have a large Jewish population in Beaverton/Portland area, you'd make a fortune!!! Delish! If you're originally from NY then this is a little slice of home. I landed here by mistake on a roadtrip with a friend. We missed the exit for the place we originally planned to go. Glad we did! I had the Lox Sandwich which was super yummy. As a kid, my grandpa used to bring home bagels and lox w/ cream cheese, red onion, tomato, and capers every Saturday and this was just a good as I remembered. My friend had the Philly Cheesesteak which looked and tasted fantastic. Coffee was delicious. Service was also great. Our waiter was just the right amount of accommodating. Attentive but not hovery. Prices are a little more expensive with a bagel and lox being $20 but I suppose the entire area is kind of overpriced. All in all, a good experience and good food. Glad we ended up here. More...

My family and I have been to Miltons several times over the years! We normally visit around the standard Jewish holidays to celebrate and have some traditional deli food. I have never been inspired to write a review of Miltons until this evening. The food is always so awesome and one of the only places in San Diego that has great deli food like back east. Tonight was super special because we had a waitress by the name of Gina. Gina was so fun! She was like a family member from the time she came up to our table. Dining is an experience, the food is only one part, the other is the service, this can many times make a normal visit to a deli like Miltons a memorable one that will not be forgotten.
