What makes a great website?
Great websites consists of a few things; a clean design, concise content, and a clear end goal.
The clean design catches the eye of the viewer, keeping them on your page for a little while longer. The concise content allows them to quickly understand what you are about - you got their attention, don't make them read a five-paragraph essay to see figure out if they are interested in what you are providing. Lastly, where are you driving consumers to? Is your email list, your blog, an online shop, etc? Having a clear end goal with your website allows us to target your audience and work on converting their views to a sale.
What inspired you to start your own business?
After arriving in Atlanta post-grad, our founder Megan Roth started a food Instagram account called Hungry Girls Do It Better. Hungry Girls documented her adventures around the city of Atlanta, eating at all the best restaurants the city had to offer. She quickly developed relationships with the restaurant owners and a few of them asked her if she could help them with their business social media accounts. She realized there was a desperate need there. When it came to digital marketing, everyone understood that social media is the new modern-day advertising, but no one knew how to get started or had the time to put in on top of already running their own business. At that moment, Milk and Butter Social was born.
