Mr. Karr has proved to be an excellent personal trainer. He is academically and professionally highly qualified. He is experienced as a college lecturer in kinesiology.

He is serious, well prepared and attentive. He designs exercises to help me with balance, flexibility and strength. He explains clearly and he is very thoughtful, helpful, efficient and on time.

I recommend Mr. Karr very strongly.

We’ve been working out with Mike for 11 years, starting in our 60s. It’s the first time either of us ever participated in a systematic, long term program of exercise. We still don’t love the work itself, but we are devoted to the program, and it has helped keep us healthy. Mike is excellent at working with both of us simultaneously, doing different routines, and at tailoring his workouts to each person. He is patient, attentive and steady—and he has been careful to modify the exercises to take into account changes over time and medical problems we have had to deal with over the years. I started with Mike when I was having chronic pain from working as a professional musician. Mike started me on a program that was balanced between addressing the immediate causes of the pain but that would also strengthen my body to prevent future pain. We help clients achieve their goals by first listening to the client and then picking goals that are realistic and achievable. Then we put together an action plan and help the client stick to the plan.

I've always been a self starter. My father had the entrepreneurial spirit and I have pick it up from him!
