We chose MidCoast to cater our wedding reception of 180 people. MidCoast offered us a tasting session of multiple dishes they thought would work well for our event. They patiently talked over choices with us until we reached a decision! We chose the chicken pesto, Bent Paddle braised short ribs, mashed potatoes, pilaf, salad, and roasted veggies for our entree. Kelsey was kind enough to realize we had a lot of kids coming and offered up a "kid buffet" which helped ease our food cost. For our cocktail hour we chose the antipasto bar, MidCoast allowed us to bring in our own smoked fish as it was a sentimental addition for us. Jonathon went above and beyond and set up our late night pizza delivery with Sammy's as well. They were able to provide everything we needed, including compostable plates, utensils, and napkins. My wife baked our wedding cake and they were gracious enough to store it and bring it over to our reception venue which alleviated so much stress! We cannot say enough good things about how delicious the food was as well as how accommodating and kind all the staff were. Shout out to Jonathan from MidCoast Catering: Yesterday while waiting to cross a busy road while bicycling, there was only one driver who stopped, smiled, and gave a friendly wave. As the vehicle drove away I noticed the “MidCoast Catering” logo and I caught a better glimpse of the driver . It wasn’t until I called him later that he realized his RAK was for his very own cousin.
