Microspa

My daughter and I were visiting the area for recreation and decided to pamper ourselves with a visit to Microspa in Longmont. In a nut shell I would most highly recommend Vanessa because of the professional yet personable attention, great atmosphere and great price!But if you want the details....We pre-booked our appointment and met her for what we soon realized was going to be a highlight of our trip. I had the Renewal Body Treatment which truly was a renewal after all of our hiking and outdoor adventures. My skin was not used to the dry climate and was quite parched. Vanessa said I would feel super soft for two weeks and it has been a little over that and I still cannot believe how soft my skin is. She exfoliated my body and I appreciated how she very modestly draped me and also got to all areas of my body. She then applied this amazing warm oil and wrapped me in a cocoon of warm blankets. While my body was  absorbing this she began evaluating my facial skin and had a special instrument that determined how dry my skin was. She then began the Classic European facial which was so wonderful. Well maybe not the extractions but that is my fault for not being consistent with my skin care. After the extractions she applied a wonderful mask and between the relaxing music and comfy cocoon I dozed off. Another thing I really appreciated was the education she gave me about great skin care. She wasn't pushing products, but truly wanted me to have the knowledge to care for myself in the best way. I have been to a couple high dollar spas in my travels and several averagely priced ones too and I am so sorry Microspa is not in my area because I really feel like I found a place that wasn't uppity and snobby but homey and I had someone who wanted me to not only find  a place to relax and get pampered but was interested in my welfare and care above the sales. Vanessa is a remarkable massage therapist and esthetician. I have been fortunate enough to sample her many and diverse services the last 5 years and she never disappoints. She is knowledgable on a wide range of exquisite services that are fantastic help in taking care of yourself and pampering. I have experienced her foot reflexology and you can tell she has extensive training because it's truly a luxury and pleasure. And you feel so good all over for days. She never cuts corners or scrimps on details. Her lotions and potions are all top of the line and so fragrant and pleasant but nothing perfumey. I recently had the microdermabrasion facial and the rejuvenation package with a warm oil scalp massage add on.  It had hot stone massage as part of the package and since I run too warm I was concerned it might be too much but it was heavenly and interestingly enough the stones didn't feel like super heat. They felt like light!  It was a marvelous and enchanting feeling to feel orbs of light placed down my spine and I also love how when you turn over she tucks the stones strategically under you. I felt great to have 4 stones framing my sacrum and hips.    When the microdermabrasion  was done my face glowed for days.  People commented. I'm 52 and routinely mistaken for decades younger and I'm sure it's in large part due to this amazing skin care Vanessa offers. If you want to treat yourself to something amazing I whole heartedly recommend this package! Vanessa is fun and caring and really listens to your individual needs, allergies, wants and what you enjoy. I've paid big bucks for this kind of thing at the famous Spa Castle in Queens,NY but Vanessa's work is far superior! More...
