It has been over 10 years I have been patronizing this neighborhood store for repairs, upgrades, service and advice on technology and they help me get up the learning curve on the latest and greatest in the industry. It's like a family business, not a lot of turnover and they remember my name and my machines and if there is a problem with anything they swap it right out and get me back to work immediately. micro is great! i've been to see mo noori twice now and the service has been excellent. once i was in for a laptop screen issue and the other when my computer completely crashed. both times moe and his technicians were extremely helpful, knowledgeable and patient. i learned a lot about the various issues i was having and they were happy to answer all my (many) questions. the price was very fair and they resolved both of my problems perfectly. i highly recommend micro. As I didn't know how to fix my old computer, I was prepared to buy a new one when Micro Computers assured me the computer was still in good, running condition and that it just needed some simple maintenance work, etc. They were very helpful in explaining what needed to be done, very timely in getting the work done, and very reasonable in charging for the work done. Took my laptop to Micro Computer after Best Buy proved incapable.  Should have gone to these guys first. Micro computer got rid of all the viruses on my computer that Best Buy had failed to even detect, did it for a lower price than Best Buy charges, and installed a better ant-virus that has worked flawlessly. .. and all within a 24 hour period because I needed my laptop!  Very happy. I brought my MacBook Pro here after I dropped it and shattered the screen. Because I am clumsy and apparently they don't make Otterboxes for 15 inch laptops. The Genius at the Apple store quoted me something like $800 to fix it. Well this genius right here took it to Micro Computer Center (why do they have two Yelp entries anyway?) and they fixed it for less than half the price in under 24 hours. This was my first time coming here.... My mother in law recently blessed me with an early model Mackbook Pro. She uses this shop for all her computer service needs. I'm not certain of the extent of their knowledge of either PC or Mac but, they do service both. The shop was umm.... Well... I felt like I walked into an 80's time warp. The sign on the outside and the decor on the inside of the store immediately lets you know that it's been there for quite a while. This could be considered a bad thing, as well as a good sign. I've patronized many Mom & Pop businesses over the years who've had the same vibe & have provided AWESOME service! Cluttered and old is a great way to describe the interior of the store. Computers to be repaired? ...to be picked up? I don't know... There was stuff lying around all over.....also dust.... That doesn't seem to be too safe for a place that's always opening up computers. But... Don't judge a book by it's cover... The most important thing is: They fixed the computer, replaced the hard drive, didn't take forever to do it and didn't knock me over the head in price. The lady working at the counter was very nice, professional and courteous. I was right in and right back out the door in no time. I was satisfied. I take my computer here about once a year to clean up viruses and to get the computer to run faster. I get it back within a couple of days in optimal condition. They seem to prefer Kaspersky here as the best anti-virus software so I bought it through them. The staff is very bottom line - they tell you what you need and they give you good service for a very good price. I have started to realize that mom and pop shops like this are so much easier to deal with than chain stores, especially when it comes to computer problems. Just to give an example - the cost for cleaning up my computer was $69.00 from Micro Computer and my previous computer repair person charged me $500 for it. Unlike other stores there is no waiting in line, finding out that your warranty ran out, or lack of individual accountability. Took in my MacBook Pro after a liquid spill on the keyboard.  I actually waited way too long to take it in.  Tried to let it dry out for over a month with only worsening response from keys.  A friend of a friend said they could fix it but the would have to take out the mother board and give it a chemical bath to prevent corrosion.  Basically, they said the longer I waited, the more damage was done and the more it would cost.  Since I waited it would dost more.Went into the store, It is cluttered with a lot of computers in different states of repair, but when I dropped my MacBook off they were very courteous, and said they would take a look and call me with an estimate.  Heard back from them the next day.  I only needed a new keyboard.  It cost less than $220 bucks.  If I had gone to the Apple store (warranty had just run out)  it would have been more than twice as much.  Also the Apple warranty does not cover spills.  I also heard if you take it there, your computer is tagged as "liquid damage" which is not covered and makes every future service more expensive.  They fixed it within the week, and I am currently typing this review from the computer they fixed.  No problems after a few months.Good service, Good price.  To tell you the truth if they had told me I had to pay twice what I did I would have paid it, not knowing what something like this costs.  I will go back to them with any future computer problems. I was referred to this store by a trusted friend.  I drove all the way from Glendale, and it was worth it.  Mr. Noori fixed my PC, which had hardware problems.  He also sold me a used MacBook at an excellent price.  I really like the way he can sell new and used equipment, both PC and Mac, and also do repairs.  And he gives warranties on used equipment and also on repairs.  But I have had no need to use a warranty.  I've had the Mac almost a month now, and it's working fine.  I saved well over a $1,000 versus buying a new one.  Much appreciated!One thing I like about Mr. Noori, is that he gets to the point, fast.  I asked him about Mac's built-in software for word processing and spreadsheet, he helped me arrive quickly at an understanding of what functionality I would lose versus Microsoft Word and Excel.  Same with IPad versus MacBook.  I seems that he thinks like a user, rather than like a programmer or techie.  If you tell him what it is that you want to do, he helps you arrive at the optimal - and cheapest - system.It was a pleasure to work with him. Mo and his team are the best tech team you can find in Los Angeles to repair your computer.  I have been a customer for over 7 years and have always been completely satisfied. In fact, I have referred at least 4 other people to Micro Computer Center and in each case, everyone has been thrilled with their service. Recently, I had major computer problems booting up my computer.  I made the mistake of taking my computer to Staple's Easy Tech rather than Micro Computer.Even after 6 hours, Easy Tech could not figure out what was wrong. Mo and his team properly diagnosed my problem and had it fixed within a few hours.  5 reasons to choose Micro Computer Systems?1. They can fix it.  That's the bottom line.2. Fast.   Unlike Easy Tech (Staples) who had my computer for 6 hours and couldn't even diagnose the problem much less fix it.  I dropped off my computer at Micro Computer and within a few hours the problem was not only diagnosed it was fixed.3. First of all, in case anyone was wondering, it's not a good idea to spill beer on your laptop keyboard.  Having done that, I now keep my beer a safe horizontal can or two away from my laptop in the event a grasp for my beer becomes as clumsy as a flailing dog's tail again. My laptop got hit with a virus that totally disabled it within an hour. It went completely haywire and the viral pop-ups were unstoppable. I called Micro Computer Center in a panic and they told me to bring it in right away. They called me back the next day and informed me that my computer had been infected with the Windows Police Pro virus. They gave me an estimate which I thought was very reasonable. Granted, I was just thrilled they could fix it! The next day it was as good as (or better?) than new. They even upgraded my Microsoft Office package and installed a trusted anti-virus program so I wouldn't get infected again. More...

Wow, I can't say enough about Moe at Micro Computer Centers.  My eMac died on a Sunday night.  Monday I called another service company and they told me to just "buy a new computer".  I then called Micro CC and Moe told me he would take a look at it.  For $35 he would check it out, and then I could use the $35 towards the repair or towards a new computer.  Guess what  Moe fixed my computer and also got the airport extreme card to work for $70!!  I figured Moe saved me at least $1,500!! System fan on my Thinkpad T43 was on its last breath. Bought the part online for $40, they did the install for $80. My palm rest had some cracks in it so bought a new one and they installed it too, for free (they'd have to put the palm rest back on anyway). Overall a job well done. Completed in 2 days as promised. I am so happy to have Micro Computer Center just a few minutes from my house.  I have been going here for 10 years and have always had good experiences.  It feels like going to your neighborhood dry cleaner or tailor -- I bring my broken hard drives and computers in and the owner always greets me warmly and takes care of my problems without any drama.  I would kill myself if I had to go to Geek Squad or some other big box repair center.  If your dad needed to have a mechanic that he trusted to take care of his baby, you need a guy like this to take care of your modern version.
