The food was all delicious. The French onion soup is very tasty. My husband got the surf and turf option and there was no skimping on sea food portions. The sea food (lobster, shrimp and scallops) was cooked perfectly. I got the beef Wellington. My steak was chocked to perfection, the puff pastry was perfectly crispy, and the gravy complemented the flavor very well. The portion sizes for everything are very generous. We are from out of town and this is where the hotel recommended for a good steak. I didn’t get a steak because the waiter (Jim, who was amazing) suggested I try the special. So I had bbq brisket and ribs with roasted corn and some potato salad. I hurt now, but that was because I am pretty sure I ate waaay more than I should have but it was sooo good. I came here with my company for our holiday party. The company ordered the chicken Marsala buffet style for the group. Which looked great. But I am vegan, so I performed the requisite research. I called ahead to ask if there would be any vegan friendly items served in the buffet our company ordered. I only called to set my expectations- I had no intention of modifying the order. The Michael V contact I spoke with went ABOVE AND BEYOND in service. He told me that they would make a special plate for me!My meal was fabulous!
