After reading excellent reviews about DC Metro Renovations, I called to inquire about help with leaks in our home.  George was extremely responsive and came out the next day to look at the problems and talk about solutions.  He was able to start work on the job the following Monday.  I was most impressed with his timeliness, responsiveness, detailed explanations of the problems he was finding and proposed repairs, the accuracy of his quotes, quality of his work, and his overall kindness and caring demeanor.  George really takes pride in his work and his passion for the job shows.  George repaired our roof, fixed plumbing issues, did drywall repairs and painting, and also did a few other jobs around the house.  He is truly a Jack of all trades and knows the ins and outs of all different aspects of home building and repair.  Without question, George has gained our trust and will be the first person my husband and I call for any home repairs in the future.  We fully intend to use George as our only contractor moving forward.  Thanks for your kindness, professionalism, and excellent/honest work, George.  We really appreciate it. Although I've reviewed this company elsewhere for projects they've done for our family over the years, I'm leaving a review here as well. I spent some time here on Houzz in April of 2015 to get some ideas for remodeling our Bathrooms and found Metro Renovations & More was on here as well. One quick call to Dan and as usual, our project was off to a great start. Dan's customer service is simply second to none and Jani and his crews did a wonderful job remodeling three of our Bathrooms as well as finding the source of where water was getting into our crawl space, (and fixing the problem) Installing Flagstone in part of our back yard and pavers in another part which repaired a big mess left by another Contractor.

This was a big project for us lasting well over a month and Jani was here everyday to supervise the workers who were not only very skilled at what they did but very nice guys too. To sum up, THANK YOU AGAIN Dan and Thank you Jani for our beautiful new Bathrooms and Back Yard! You know you'll hear from us again! More...

We recently hired George to design, build and install a fireplace in our home. He was extremely professional and attentive throughout the project, and he ultimately delivered exactly what we asked on schedule and on budget. In a city where honest, hardworking contractors are hard to find, it was refreshing to work with a company that delivers on its promises and cares about its reputation. George does extremely high quality work. He fixed pipe insulation/freezing issues that we had for years, had attempted to fix with multiple other contractors, and he was the first to succeed (tested by extremely cold 2015 winter). George is absolutely the best. He's done a couple things in my home now, including uninstalling a dish washer, helping connect an oven, and a couple other smaller installs and piece fittings. He's always on time and gets he job done right the first time. Can't recommend him enough and will continue to use him for anything my home needs. Added bonus is that we're always texting or emailing so things get done very efficiently than trying to find a time to talk on the phone. More...

As stated by other Yelpers, George is fantastic.  It is really hard to find a contractor of high quality AND high integrity in DC.  George fits the mold.  He has now done two projects for my wife and I (external housepainting and a kitchen redo), and we could not be happier.  George will deliver on time, on budget, with good, quality honest work.  Have recommended him to several friends, all of which have been thrilled with him.  A+. I give George and DC Metro Renovations 5 stars!  They did an amazing job in renovating our basement, building in a shower, and installing a wet bar.  George was extremely professional and knowledgable.  He was super easy to communicate with, and made us very comfortable in this project.  DC Metro Renovations finished the job on time and it looks great!I will be dealing with George and DC Metro Renovations in the future, and will recommend him to all my friends and family.Thanks for a job well done! George and his team took care of several jobs in my condo, including a down-to-the-studs renovation of my bathroom. He was great to work with and I was very happy with the results. Unlike many contractors, he was pro-active about calling and following through. He offered ideas, was flexible when problems were discovered (such as a crack in my floor that delayed work in the bathroom), and he and his team got the work done when he said they would. I certainly recommend him; in fact, I'll probably turn to him again in the not-too-distant future. More...

We recently contacted George and his team to do a renovation on two full bathrooms in our Ballston condo. He did an absolutely spectacular job in every possible way. ..1) First of all, he gave us the most reasonable/detailed estimate out of any contractor we met with. He also listened to what our ideas were and offered constructive feedback to help maximize the design.2) He was very knowledgeable about our preferred materials and even suggested alternate vendors to help bring our materials cost down.3) He maintained constant communication throughout the project. He would always check-in to get our approval to proceed if anything unexpected popped up during the demo/installation.4) The project was finished on time and 100% to our satisfaction.On top of everything... A couple months after he finished our bathrooms, he helped us uninstall and move our washer/dryer free of charge just because we needed help and he happened to be in the building that week.
