Welcome to Method to the Makeup. My name is Ashley and I do makeup. Currently based in Jersey City I am a transplant from PA. My specialties include long-wearing timeless looks that are ideal for weddings/daytime events and stunning Glam looks because don't we all like the nightlife baby!

I’ve been a freelance makeup artist for years and obsessed with makeup for the better half of my life. At 18 I entered the entertainment world and have not looked back. For over a decade now I have been fine tuning my art by working with a wide scope of projects including bridal, editorial, performers in addition to traditional painting. And did I mention I’m a perfectionist?

Makeup is truly my life and passion. You won’t ever find this girl sitting at a desk! I found my calling and my favorite part is using what I love for something you can adore.
