I am a National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) Certified Personal Trainer and Certified Corrective Exercise Specialist. I specialize in helping you reach your exercise goals while keeping you injury free.

I help my clients achieve by listening and understanding their goals and pace while motivating them to push beyond when possible.

I connect with my clients and provide movement and weight loss education, encouragement, and understanding....
all accomplishments are huge milestones.

For many, exercise is hard when you don't know what to do or have the motivation to accomplish it on your own. I believe that appropriate Challenge and Praise is a huge motivator that helps us attempt difficulty and paves the way for more achievements!

I LOVE spending time with my clients. We not only train together but become connected in friendship.
It excites me when someone accomplishes a new exercise after a few tries!

Absolutely both!
I am located in Durham, NC if you are looking for in-person training. This is a private gym that is equipped with everything from free weights to ellipticals, also you do not need a gym membership to train with me.
I also offer online training so that you can train in your environment.. Online training is a great way to meet the demands of a busy schedule.
Both options are 50 min. sessions.

Masks were required for in-person training, however since the pandemic has been slowing, masks are optional.
If the weather provides, we go outside
Sanitizer is available and all equipment is wiped down.
Since this is a large yet private gym, there is more space to socially distance.

I also offer online / remote training if that works better for you

Why is online training so popular?
Training online allows us to train from anywhere!
There is no commute so your time commitment is less.
Online training isn’t affected by shutdowns and closures due to unexpected circumstances.
You are able to train in your environment.
This type of training will still increase your heart rate, improve muscle tone and endurance.

I am a Certified Corrective Exercise Specialist.
As we train, I will be assessing your movement and the possible issues impeding proper movement primarily with the feet, knees, hips and shoulders. We will work to correct imbalances thereby reducing stress that this could put on the body, this will allow for better movement in your daily activities and exercise.
