Friendly people and good sweets! I have gotten cookies etc. here for a while. Recently I ordered a cake for my daughter's birthday, something I had never done before. The employee that took my order was very nice about answering my questions and suggesting ideas, and the finished cake was adorable. This is not a trendy place and the offerings don't change a lot, but there are so many choices that it would take you a while to try everything. It is good and extremely consistent. Hands down, this is the best bakery in town! We have literally never had a bad experience at any location! Their lunch is amazing, their donuts and breakfast items are fantastic and their deserts are out of this world. Merritt’s also constructed my winter wonderland wedding cake each layer with a different filling and 9 years later, people are still talking about how amazing it looked, tasted and the fact that there was NO FONDANT! I enjoyed my visit to Merritt bakery. In one trip I practically learned their while menu. The manager was pure muscle and very patient and able to yell out the price of each item in the store at the drop of a hat. Enjoyed my customer experience!
