Ducked in to try the sweets and see if this would be an appropriate spot for my new Hollywood Florida Food Tour and the answer was a resounding YES! Went here for a custom cake for my girlfriend's birthday and it came out great it was a little more than i expected to pay but the service was fast got it on time and everything only real problem i had was that i had asked for the cake to be made with red velvet and it didnt seem like red velvet just regular chocolate. The cake was good and im not sure if it was just a dark tone of red velvet but it didnt taste like it so that was a bit of a bummer. Delicious! Ordered from this bakery for the first time and I am so shocked I hadn't heard of it sooner, being that I have such a sweet tooth. Happen to be in Hollywood and after hearing good things about this place decided to stop by and give it a try. Not a vegan per se but  thought the mini bundt cakes and chocolate chip cookie purchased were good being only vegan, as well as reasonably priced, though personally, I could still taste the difference. Its a cool little artisan shop with a friendly shopkeeper. No plans to rush back but if you're in the area and the sweet tooth hits, I'd give this bakery a try. More...

I was looking for a vegan cake bakery for my sons birthday (due to egg allergy) and I'm happy I found Zalie Cakes. Not only they offer decent prices but they were also able to help with my order on such a short notice. We chose vegan chocolate cake with blue layer in the middle, just to add some colour and make it more fun. The cake was very soft and moist, could not even tell it's vegan!
