Aaron catered our pre wedding welcome dinner for about 100 people at a State Park near Mendocino. He came on time locked and loaded with two trailers. Had a delicious lunch last week at Mendocino bbq inside the pub. Everything had great flavor from the Tri tip sandwich to the fries and onion rings. I highly recommend it.

We had Mendocino BBQ Catering cater our wedding two weeks ago and we couldn't have been happier with how everything turned out. Aaron was professional, accommodating, and provided an excellent service throughout the entire planning process. For appetizers, my husband and I decided to have capresse skewers, sausage stuffed mushrooms, meatball skewers and for the main course went with tri-tip, chicken, apple pie baked beans, mac and cheese, salad and bread rolls. We were more than impressed with how the food turned out and tasted. We had people come up to us after the wedding and tell us how much they loved the food (and still do weeks after the wedding). All the food was prepared in Aaron's portable kitchen and smoker. We agreed on a location in the property for him to set up for the day of and provide him we an extension cord for electrical. Aaron and his staff were amazing and we can't thank them enough for all the work they did for my husband and I. Mendocino BBQ is the best for catering any event!!! I had a wedding a couple weeks ago and I couldn't have asked for a better cater, not only is Aaron and his staff the nicest people you will ever meet, but the food was a HUGE hit, his famous brisket was to die for and the chicken was on point. He even did a vegetarian Mac n cheese along side one with bacon to accommodate my vegetarian guests and my love for bacon. The only complaint was my guests ate all the Mac n cheese so I didn't get left overs. Haha which is a good thing!! I absolutely recommend these guys! I highly recommend Mendocino BBQ catering. They catered our wedding this July and we couldn’t be more impressed. As a bride, we have so much to think of and do, and they made it incredibly easy. Aaron was so helpful with the menu planning and accommodated all our needs and dietary restrictions. We had the brisket, chicken, Mac n cheese, coleslaw and potatoes. All the guests were raving about the food. Chicken was super moist and delicious, and the smoke flavor from the brisket was mouth watering. We come from a family that does a lot of weekend BBQ’s with smoked meats, and Mendocino BBQ did not disappoint! They had everything set up so nicely and were on time with our desired schedule. We had Mendocino BBQ Catering cater for our wedding in May 2019 on the Mendocino Coast and were very happy with the food and their service. Aaron was very responsive and great to work with, the staff were friendly and helpful on the day of the wedding, and the food was fantastic! We had the tri-tip, chicken, bacon mac & cheese, roasted potatoes, green salad, Normandy vegetables, and bread rolls. Everybody loved it! The Tri-tip and bacon mac & cheese were fan favorites, and the chicken and roasted potatoes got lots of compliments. Everything was exactly what we wanted. A big value add is that Mendocino BBQ Catering comes fully prepared and contained with their own large trailer so that they do not require a kitchen, they just need a space to park. I'm pretty picky when it comes to bbq, I like it just a certain way, so it's usually hard to find. But this is literally the best bbq I've ever had! It has everything I want and love about bbq. It's tender, it's sweet, it's salty, it's smokey. There was a "bbq sauce" that was on the ribs I had and it was out of this world! It was almost like a sweet and tangy jam. Nothing like I've experienced before, but I crave it every day now. I asked the owner about it and he said he's won blue ribbons with that sauce, I can understand why! The service was here was great and the owner does all the cooking himself, that's probably why it's such great quality. He was very nice to talk to and very friendly. My wife and I are definitely going to have Mendocino BBQ cater our sons birthday coming up! More...
