Jena is amazing! I finally had the courage to set up a boudoir session after losing -90lbs. Jena knew exactly what she was doing and made me feel very comfortable through the whole session. It was a lot of fun and I never felt rushed at all. I was able to change outfits about a dozen times and used the props that were in the studio. Thee pictures came out AWESOME!!! I will recommend Jena to anyone who needs a photographer and once I reach my goal weight, I'll be setting up another session for sure! Thanks Jena!! More...

I have used Jena as a photographer for a couple monumental times in my life, and she captured each (very different) events beautifully! The first was a very personal doggy photo shoot of my 14 year old German Shepard. It was an emotional decision to put him down, and I wanted some pictures of just him and also some of me with him to be able to look fondly at for years to come. It was very therapeutic and I am eternally grateful to have those photos! The second was an engagement photo shoot and my wedding day! All of these moments were filled with love and emotion and Jena made us feel comfortable so that we could just "live in the moment" of these life changing events! On my wedding day, our whole wedding party commented often about how easy she was to work with and how nice she was! With a total wedding party of 14 (including my husband & I), Jena was able to get everyone to listen to her direction, and everyone coordinated in a timely fashion...without having to compromise her cool, calm, friendly demeanor! Jena spent 2 days with me this week documenting a conference hosted at Michigan State University. She was amazing. Not only are the photos phenomenal, but she was awesome to work with. My husband and I just had a session with Jena last weekend, for wedding photography in and around Detroit. I must say I was nervous before the session, because we're not models by any means, and we were worried we would look silly, or not know what we were doing. The nervousness went away the minute we began working with Jena. Not only did she assuage my jitters via email, but working with her felt so natural. My experience with Jena was nothing short of amazing. My son just turned one year and is physically unable to hold still for one second. Getting pictures of him can be frusterating. We let him go and she captured the most incredible photos of his little personality. Nothing was staged. I am just in awe over my pictures, I can't stop looking at them. She was very laid back and easy to work with. I had a lot of fun during our session. My husband Stan and I were very grateful to have had the opportunity to work with Jena last month when she photographed our wedding! And I must mention – our wedding was in Mexico! Jena was so easy to work with and enthusiastic about the whole thing. She responded quickly to everything which made setting up travel plans very smooth. She met with us before we left and after meeting her I was so excited she was going to be taking our pictures because she was so easy going and made us feel comfortable. She made sure that I let her know if there were any certain pictures I knew I wanted so she didn’t miss a thing. On our wedding day she was flexible and worked hard even though it was at least 100 degrees! She was exceptionally responsive, most attentive, and highly motivated to serve our wedding photography wishes. It is with sincere pleasure that I highly recommend Jena for a photographer with heart. I never really wanted a professional photographer for my wedding. If I could give Jena 100 stars, I would. Jena is extremely professional, fun, friendly, and has a great eye for the perfect shot. I hired her to shoot my wedding in Mexico, and I could not be happier with the photos she put together. All of our guests were taken with Jena's sunny spirit, which made it surprisingly simple to ensure all the photos I wanted were taken and of the highest quality.
