We are Bruce and Fabienne McGovern. We started McGovern Tax Services, LLC, because we believe there is a need for high quality, reasonably priced tax preparation services. We prepare and e-file individual and small business federal income tax returns.

We have lived in the Houston area for more than twenty years and have lived in Katy since 2009. Bruce is a licensed attorney in New York, the District of Columbia, and other jurisdictions (but not in Texas) who specializes in taxation. He is authorized to represent clients before the IRS and in the United States Tax Court.

To start, call us or send an e-mail message to let us know you would like to have your taxes done. We will schedule an initial phone call to learn more about your tax situation and goals. If you decide to work with us, we will send you a link to our secure, online portal. Through the portal you will send us any necessary tax documents such as W-2 forms. You can even do this with your phone by taking a picture of the document and uploading it to the portal.

We will prepare your return and send it to you through the portal for review and approval. After you approve it, we will then e-file your return.
