Mayer's Flower Cottage did the flowers for my father's funeral service. Not the best time in my life. My mom & I met with Stephanie and immediately I knew we were in good hands. I asked that there be "no daisies or gerber daisies" in any arrangements. She wrote it down and said"Ok. Now what about carnations?" We went over a list. We picked a casket blanket but my father was cremated so it would require some changes to accommodate the urn. Stephanie never raised a concern about it being a problem. Instead she went to the back talked to the floral designer and just made it happen. They did a beautiful job on it. I ordered a very specific cross spray and we modified it slightly to make it more to our taste. She even called twice before it was made to make sure I would like some necessary changes. It was tasteful and appropriate. We ordered Calla lilies and again they were beautiful. Flowers aren't a big deal but when your world is spinning out of control and you feel overwhelmed, they are. The people at Mayer's took such good care of us and did beautiful work. If you need flowers for any occasion I recommend Mayer's. Tell them what you want and let them be the artists that they are and you won't be disappointed. More...

I was in a panic to send my dear friend flowers for her birthday today. I waited until the last minute and now there's a snowstorm. I called a couple florists that I normally use and there was no answer. I called Mayer's in Patchogue and thought they would also be closed. But to my surprise a lovely friendly person answered and said yes they would deliver flowers for me in this messy weather. They saved the day !!!!!My friend called, texted posted on Facebook and IG the absolutely beautiful flowers that were delivered on this cold and very snowy day. We recently got married at the Bellport Country Club and Mayer's is one their house vendors. After meeting with one other florist, we decided to go with Mayer's. My wedding flowers came out absolutely BEAUTIFUL! Way beyond my expectations! The bouquets and center pieces were amazing! We received so many compliments! We came here to pick up flowers for my mother when my grandmother passed. The woman who helped us was patient and kind. She let us look through the book and showed us what vases they would go in. She asked us what we wanted to spend and offered to make a custom arrangement. We walked out with an enormous, beautiful arrangement with flowers she helped us pick from the fridge case for the price we wanted. The flowers lasted quite a while as well. Mayer's cottage also did the flowers for our wedding, which were AMAZING!  I showed them some pictures from pinterest for the bouquets and they not only replicated, but made them even more beautiful.  I worked with Debbie as the designer and she gave me such great ideas for the centerpieces, for the groomsmen and other ideas.  Everything came our so spectacular!  The delivery on the wedding day was on time and had no issues, no headaches, just perfect.  Debbie was extremely professional to work with.  They are extremely knowledgeable and put together some fantastic arrangements for us. They did the flowers for my wedding.  All I can say is WOW! Mayer's Flower Cottage is a good little flower shop right across from the Pathmark (yelp.com/biz/pathmark-of…).  It shares a building with Subway.  I've done well here with little cash, they work with me an put a nice bouquet together for about fifteen or eighteen bucks.  You get a lot more variety and color going this way than picking out a three for twelve deal at the local supermarket.  They have a good selection of pre-made bouquets, gift plants, balloons etc. as well.  In addition, the building features a flaking Hans Gabali on the Northern exterior wall which is also worth checking out (see pic).
