Took the wife out for the first time in a long time. I know restaurants have had their share of hiring good people issues so we hated going out and getting poor service.
Max's on MAIN in MG was so awesome. The Food was sooooo good, actually perfect. Friendly wait staff. I have never seen the owner at any restaurant out there bussing tables, serving food and greet guests like this guy did. This is my new -go to- for date night.

Disappointed, we went on Saturday for lunch at 1130am and the place was near empty. The heat was broken and it was freezing. The restaurant looks half put together. Bad patch jobs on walls, exposed storage above the game area which looks tacky and a very empty feeling. The food was decent but the service lacked. You could tell the frustration on the few tables that were seated. Hope things can improve from the decor to the service. More...

Atmosphere is completely off with the old Irish theme, cheap paper menus and the food is not good at all. I ordered a burger with the bun rock hard and found over 5 hairs in my food. We will never consider going back to this place ever. More...

This was our 2nd time @ Max's! I ordered the Chicken Salad (Again) and it was so delicious!! My hubby had the wings- also good.
My daughter had a kids meal and ate it all and my oldest had the Guac & Chips .. that was the only thing that needed a bit of help... needed more lime & salt.
For a family of 4, I thought the prices were very reasonable!
Our Server was awesome- great personality & attentiveness. thanks Pierre!

Great food. Great atmosphere. Can’t wait to see the rest of the menu.
We ordered the pretzel and cheese, cheese was amazing, but need a bit larger portion.
Us cheese lovers need more cheese. Also ordered the wings. Fantastic!!! We will definitely be back.
Bar tenders were a little slow and not due to an overly packed place-we sat behind the beer taps at the bar, and got forgotten. Once food arrived, there was no check in to see if our drinks ordered 20 minutes prior were needing refills. We would have ordered a second round, but got kind of tired of waiting.

My husband, Tony, and I stopped in today. So glad we did!
First off, the service was wonderful. Everyone we encountered was friendly and helpful.
Second, the food was great! We enjoyed a couple of appetizers and drinks. At the moment, the menu somewhat limited as they ramp up - but don't let that keep you away. What we had was excellent - dry rub wings with with a tasty sauce and soft pretzels. A couple of burgers went by as we were there, and looked fantastic.
Can't wait to go back again! We miss Claddagh, of course, but looking forward to making this our new go-to.
