10/10 recommend! We hired Matticus Live for our wedding reception of roughly 165 people. He MADE our experience. You know a party isn’t a party without good music and a charismatic DJ! He played all of the songs we specifically requested, and the rest of the music Matt played was chosen with great consideration based on our taste. Just to say the least about this DJ. He is amazing!!! Matt was a awesome sociable person at my wedding. He never messed up our songs and even danced with my family and friends and made it so fun. I've known Matt for years, and he did our wedding . He rolled with the punches and had everything prepared so perfectly! He danced with our family, he stayed when most everyone had gone and played music while we cleaned up and he was just such a blessing to have! My husband and I chose Matt to DJ our wedding and we could not be happier with that decision! He was able to pull off all of my requests I included in my notes and he even got an outfit to coordinate with the wedding party! DJ Matticus was great for our lovely outdoor wedding at Dunaway Gardens in Newnan, Ga! We hired his services strictly for our reception and he sure did deliver. ..Great flow of music based on the song selection we gave him in advanced as well as a few he threw in there himself! It was never a dull moment..One of the best parts was when Matticus got on the dance floor himself and started teaching everyone the dances to several hip hop songs (i.e The Wobble) so we all could have a grand time! Matt did our wedding at The Rivers Ranch Inc in Jackson, GA. He was by far the easiest of my vendors to deal with as I was an out of town bride planning my wedding. With only a few emails between us, he was able to put everything together perfectly! Couldn’t have asked for better. Sometimes all it took was a glance his way and a little nod and he would end the songs for the dances and transition smoothly. When I asked Matt to dj for our wedding, I knew it would be amazing! Not just because he’s been a long time friend and he drove all the way from Georgia to St. Petersburg Florida where we live, but because he is an awesome personality and is just a fun person to be around! To start off our wedding was thrown together in less than 3 weeks so it was already chaotic, then a week and a half before our wedding day the Dj we had originally, backed out on us. Matt was recommended to us by a close friend and it just so happened that he was available to do the rehearsal and wedding on such short notice. I met with him the day before rehearsal and went over the songs I had picked and without hesitation he patiently found every song and made sure it was the correct version of the songs I wanted....he always showed up early and had everything he needed with him, he was very organized and that made for one less thing I needed to stress about! We could not have asked or picked a better person to DJ our wedding, Matt has the best outgoing personality from entertaining our guests before the ceremony, to keeping our wedding organized and on cue, he even found time to get out there and dance with our guests! Matt was absolutely AWESOME for our wedding! Not only was he super nice and helpful with everything, but he was so cool and down to earth about everything as well. We had some pretty specific requests and he was totally cool with everything we wanted to do. My fiance' at the time and I met with Matt very briefly and knew immediately we didn't have to worry about a thing. Wedding day rolls around, its raining, we didn't require him to come to rehearsal because he was familiar with the venue- and it all went perfectly! As a venue owner, Matt is one of our preferred vendors. There are many reasons why we have him on our list. Matt is a great DJ who knows how to get the party started and keep the party going.
