Matt is a FANTASTIC photographer and very good at what he does. I came to MM Studios on a recommendation from a friend, and explained to him the different headshots and such that I was looking for. I told him what my price range was and he developed my own personal price point and package to accommodate EXACTLY what I needed without me having to overspend, which as you know is so easy to do in LA. Matt was very professional, easy to work with, and more than anything: EFFICIENT. He gave me a bunch of different options in terms of places to shoot my headshots, including inside his studio with multiple colored backdrops, outside and around Venice and LA. I was more than happy with all of the shots he sent me back. He also did a great job editing too. I really think these are going to give a huge step up in auditions as well as a big confidence boost for me as well. I would DEFINITELY go back to Matt in a heartbeat, and would recommend him to anyone in the LA area who is looking for good quality, clean head shots without having to empty out your bank account in doing so. My wife & I could not be happier with Matt Misisco's photography. I don't even really write yelp reviews, but I signed up just to write a review for Matt. Throughout our wedding, Matt was punctual, approachable, and friendly. He was also very unobtrusive. I had to get professional pictures for my website & I bought a Groupon for Matt Misisco Studios.  A little background, I am not a typical LA person.  I do NOT feel comfortable in front of the camera.  In fact, I would rather stand in front of hundreds of people speaking versus being in front of one person with a camera.  I was an emotional wreck going into the shoot.  However, Matt has great energy!.  He makes you feel at home & directs you if you don't know what you are doing.  He makes sure you feel good about the pictures before proceeding.  Matt has a great balance of amiability and professionalism!  It makes a huge difference to feel comfortable with your photographer.  In addition, I received my photos quickly after the shoot.When I finally had the courage to post my photographs, I had a wonderful response on all my social media sites!  I couldn't be happier!  He does a superb job!  I highly endorse Matt Misisco! I found Matt on Groupon when I was looking for a photographer to take my first ever headshots. I went on his website and looked at his previous work which looked great. When I got to Matt's apartment/studio for the session he put me at ease right off the bat. The whole session was very relaxed and fun. Matt gave great direction and even helped me figure out my "good side" (it's my right!). He got back to me with my pictures really quickly and gave me at least 30 excellent shots. As someone who has never considered myself photogenic, I was shocked with the quality of Matt's photos! I've never taken head shots in my life. I am just getting into acting & I needed head shots for auditions. I looked on GROUPON and was skeptical at first to try any of the photgraphers. I saw Matt's website & saw the examples of head shots that he has taken and they were amazing. I set up an appointment with Matt, and after a couple of unschedule events happening, he was able to reschedule to shoot earlier. His studio is his apartment but he was professional from the beginning. Explained to him my situation & he worked with me to get my different looks. THE HEAD SHOTS WERE AMAZING!!! To make a long story short:- I got headshots from a groupon. Didn't like them very much.- Didn't have much money, so reluctantly tried Groupon again, but with a different photographer. - Found the groupon deal from Matt Misisco Studios. 2 looks for $49. Checked out the website in advance, looked good. His pictures were by far, WAY better than his competitors.- We booked my appointment pretty fast. He got me in, within a week. - My photoshoot was AWESOME!! He's a great photographer. The deal was a steal. He's super-easy to work with. I was really comfortable with him, and we got some great shots. I was happy with them, my agent was happy with them, and people love my new headshots a lot.
