I hired Matt based off of a phone interview I did with him as we live in Pa but we're getting married in Nashville. I was drawn to his sweet personality, his online portfolio and his understanding that it was a small wedding and I wasn't really looking for stuffy, traditional photos. Upon meeting him on the day, I was so happy I chose him. He has a sunny personality and is a top notch professional. He blended into the group and was never intrusive. When we did do a few group shots, he had my group laughing and made the whole thing fun and memorable. Many guests noted afterwards how much the liked Matt. I couldn't agree more. The photos we got were gorgeous and were exactly what I had asked for. He captured moments that would have complete escaped me had it not been for him. I love every single shot he gave me. Matt Andrews was the photographer for my daughter and son in laws wedding. Matt is phenomenal. The attention to detail is incredible. I don’t like being the center of attention and am easily embarrassed showing affection in public...but of course I wanted our wedding/engagement to be documented. We cannot say enough about how great Matt Andrews was; he made every single aspect of the wedding process as painless and beautiful as possible. He made sure that he knew what we wanted, and then made sure we got it. He sent us all photos well ahead of schedule, and we literally could not believe how great they were: it was an impossible task to choose even our favorite 100 photos! I would recommend Matt to absolutely anyone, and I'm so lucky that we chose him as our photographer. As a person, Matt is also just a great guy whom you'd want to be around--he's kind, caring, and funny, and he made us feel comfortable, even as we walked around the grounds of the Parthenon kissing. Matt photographed my wedding about a year ago. It was a wonderful experience. He offered to meet with me in person to discuss what I wanted for my wedding day before I even signed any contracts. Living 2 hours away from Nashville, he was very helpful with giving us other contacts and just being available for us. An engagement shoot was also included in our package but weren't able to do before the wedding due to the commute. He still honored this shoot and we were able to do it after the wedding. I loved the editing that was done on all of our pictures. Also, Matt is very familiar with most of the wedding venues around Nashville so when we told him the schermerhorn was our venue he knew all of the best photo spots already. When it came to photographers, I had no idea where to start. Matt came recommended by our wedding coordinator and we could not have been more thrilled with our decision to work with Matt. Neither one of us loves to have our picture taken but Matt made the day fun and captured some of the most unbelievable photos. He is extremely easy to work with and offers a lot of flexibility. We recently received our wedding pictures from Matt and couldn't be happier with them. We were so pleased with Matt throughout our entire wedding planning process. He was always quick to respond to emails and very helpful with recommending ideas. He is so easy to work with and makes you feel comfortable which makes the whole sometimes awkward picture taking process very enjoyable. My husband and I used Matt for our engagement and wedding photos. He was always very easy to communicate with and responded very quickly. He traveled all the way down to MS for our wedding and charged minimal travel fees, which I've found to be very rare. He's a great guy to work with and is very professional. Not to mention, the pictures all turned out beautiful! Both sets of photos are just incredible and we love looking at them. The editing is great, and Matt is very creative and artistic in terms of the shots he gets. We also got both sets of photos back within 5-6 weeks, which is great turnaround. Matt took the photographs for my daughter's wedding and also for she and her fiancées engagement photos. What a wonderful artist! When we chose Matt we looked at his portfolios both in person and online. What struck me about his work was that it made me smile and it captured the joy and the warmth of some very personal and happy moments. My husband and I have been reliving our wedding through Matt's photos. Matt shot our engagement photos, bridal photos, wedding and provided a photo booth and extra photographer. For each session he provided this wonderful slideshow of the photos with music. We could send out the slideshow to friends and family and it was a great way for people to share in the special moments leading up to our wedding. The turn around time was excellent. He was so easy to work with and captures the most beautiful photos. After our wedding we had a get together with friends who attended the wedding and who had seen our photographs. For those that had already gotten married they commented that they wish they had used our photographer and others that are soon to be married have quickly called to see if he was avaliable for their wedding. I also did a lot of searching for my photographer. I spent many hours searching on the internet and looking at wedding gallery pictures. I went for a price range and sometimes would go above that range and honestly, Matt's work was just as beautiful as the more expensive photographers. We have been so pleased with Matt from the very beginning that he traveled to our city to meet with us. He has always been very nice and energetic and respectful. We were pleased with our engagement pictures which he took at Opryland. He is obviously very artistic and loves what he does. He always has ideas in his head about what looks great and he's able to display that in his pictures. I feel very fortunate and quite proud that I was able to single out his talent among so many photographers, but maybe it isn't so hard to see beauty when you take the time to look. We feel that noone could've done a better job. His co-worker Carol is extremely talented and such a wonderful human being. The sweet poor lady twisted her ankle at my wedding and still kept shooting. Carol, you truly have a beautiful perspective of view or photos. Thank you both. I know I was exhausted the day of my wedding and I feel I didn't express my gratitude properly to some especially Matt and Carol. Thank you so much for all the hard work and talent.
