I don't even know where to begin to explain how amazing Matoli is in every single way. Leading up to the wedding , Matoli was super organized and asked very clear and comprehensive questions to make sure that she knew everything she needed to know before the big day (from decoration DIYs to make sure to capture to any family situations she should know about for group pics).
She didn't even flinch when I asked her if she would be okay with photographing the bridal party with puppies instead of flowers!
On the day of, Matoli showed up on time and immediately started capturing me and my bridesmaids getting ready (second photog was with the groomsmen doing the same). She did SUCH a great job corralling the wedding party (there were 9 on my side and 11 on my husbands!) and keeping us on timeline (I didn't even need that wedding coordinator in the end!).
And most importantly, our photos are just STUNNING. Absolutely stunning. I feel like she captured exactly who we were as a couple and as a group of friends and family. I had several of the photos framed and sent them to my family as thank you gifts. I reserved a "healthy" part of my wedding budget for the photographer because I knew I wanted pictures that I would love to look at again and again throughout the years, not just because they remind me of one of the most fun days of my life, but because of the quality and skill the photographer. I regret nothing. Matoli was everything I ever could have hoped for and more.

I can't imagine my wedding without Matoli. She's shot my wedding, my sister's wedding, and will be shooting my sister-in-law's wedding next spring. With all the details of wedding planning, I think the only one I was 0% worried about was how the photos would come out - and Matoli did not disappoint! She's so calm, collected, and will get every shot even when you're inevitably running behind schedule. She knows so much about the industry, and I love that she shoots on film. The difference in how the film images come out is seriously noticeable and made me feel like I was looking at Vogue's version of my wedding. I can't recommend her enough! More...

Matoli is an up and coming photographer. Overall we enjoyed working with her. Some of the photos had a narrow focus, so while there would be three people in a picture, only one or two would be in focus.
We're not sure if it was unintentional or just part of her style. There was some misunderstanding about who we wanted to be in certain pictures and not so just be sure to have that list in your mind for the big day. Another option is to go over that list with her between when it is submitted and the wedding to make sure she understands all the important shots you want.
Overall we would absolutely recommend her. She provides a more personal touch and really cares about capturing your important moments.

My husband and I found Matoli on craigslist, and I don't know how we got so lucky. She is just starting out, but she is an absolutely gifted photographer! The photos we got (both engagement session and wedding day) are genuine, intimate, sensitive, and beautifully artistic. Neither my family nor my husband's are the very comfortable in front of the camera, but you would never know it. The pictures of my husband with my mother in law after the ceremony, and of myself with my sisters, are so intimate and sincere, it makes me melt just looking at them. And the reception photos are absolutely full of the kind of candid, genuine laughs I thought could never be captured in photos. Matoli's manner is relaxing and unimposing: I was a stressed mess planning/scheduling on the day of the wedding, but after the bride and groom photoshoot, I was refreshed and relaxed. Matoli shot our wedding in March of 2017, and we enjoyed working with her every step of the way. We can hardly say enough about the experience that she gave us and how happy we are with our photos.
There wasn’t a moment or a pose missed. The prints included in our package were of fine art quality, and we get compliments from everyone that sees them. Of all of the vendors involved in our wedding day, Matoli was the only one who always recognized the importance of the day. When she caught us looking nervous or stiff, she was the first to remind us of the things that really mattered. Amongst all of the noise around schedules, seating charts, guest lists, meal choices, and every other detail, Matoli was our voice of reason and our calming influence.
We would recommend Matoli to anyone and everyone looking for a photographer. From our first Skype call to our parting hugs after the wedding, she was the perfect partner. She was friendly, over-prepared, patient, responsive, highly-dependable, respectful, natural, accommodating, and an absolute pleasure to work with. It is clear that photography is her passion, and her photos show it. Today, 8 months later, we still get compliments from our guests who met Matoli and from everyone who sees the pictures.

Hiring Matoli was the BEST choice I made in regards to my wedding. She made every single thing fun, exciting, and easy. From our very first email exchange, she made me feel absolutely at ease and as if I was talking to a long lost friend.
Her enthusiasm and professionalism never wavered. And best of all, our photos are incredible!
I actually hate having my photo taken, but Matoli made me feel very comfortable. The photos are so genuine and don't look "staged" because she is great with direction. My friends and family still cannot stop talking about how beautiful the photos came out (seriously.... they are crazy amazing). The emotion, joy, and happiness that we felt on our day is captured perfectly in our pictures.

I found Matoli through a mutual friend and I am so glad I did. Her absolutely sweet and calm personality made the process of working with her a dream. My husband and I decided to run off to Winchester and elope (it was a planned elopement). Though we wanted the ceremony to be just the two of us, we also wanted to have our day documented. Professionally, Matoli is extremely responsive and timely. We had more than a handful of wedding photos to gush over before we even left for our honeymoon. Matoli constantly went above and beyond for us, our package came with a complimentary Engagement session, we received a welcome gift and a thank you gift after the wedding --- not to mention AMAZING wedding pictures!
