We had an overall great experience at Masraff's. We were greeted promptly and warmly from the time we walked in. We had a reservation and were seated in the wine room while we waited on our friends to join. I noticed that Mr. Masraff was visiting one of the two other tables in the room. We ordered cocktails from the impressive cocktail menu and they were great. My husband really enjoyed an LIT which isn't on the menu, but he said it was awesome. We enjoyed the bread that was provided before dinner. I'm not usually a bread eater but was starving and it did not disappoint. I ordered the blackened redfish and it didn't quite meet my expectation. I was expecting a lot of flavor but instead I could only really taste black pepper. My husband ordered a flat iron steak and devoured it. Our friends loved their meals as well so maybe it was just me who was longing for a little more. Mr. Masraff finally visited our table last and gave us his greetings. I'd like to go back again to try out a different entree and the watermelon ceviche in the happy hour menu. More...

Excellent service and food.  My fiance' took me to Masraff's for my birthday dinner and I was so happy that he did. It was our first time and it definitely will not be the last.  The host welcomed us and we had a booth in the main dining area.  We were welcomed by Chris and another sweet young lady (I forgot her name).  The bread served was soft and fresh.  My fiance and I shared the crab cake. We were then greeted by Mr. Masraff!  For the entree, I had the lamb (amazing) and my fiance had the bison ribeye (amazing x2). I will definitely get the ribeye next time.  I then was served the toffee cake with ice cream for my birthday and it was delicious.  2 Thumbs up! More...

Went here straight from work and had a very enjoyable experience. The wine selection is great! The atmosphere is very warm and personable. I had a bottle of wine and ordered halibut to go which was delicious!! Cooper was our bartender and he was very attentive to our needs. Very nice foie gras, if you both like it, both order it. While the portion matched the price, both were less than other places. We had the bison rib eye—excellent.Our waiter was excellent; waiter at next table got into a protracted discussion on why the guest DID NOT want his tuna cooked all the way through. He wasn’t wrong, but the guy is paying so give him what he wants...I liked that most everyone was dressed up and there was a sense of panache. I do think it’s time for the restaurant to remodel the interior to a fresher look. My wife’s comment was the decor was a bit too like Luby’s. Last Saturday night girlfriend and I stopped in for dinner after a long day of shopping in the galleria and watching my Ducks come from behind and beat Washington at moxies.  I decided as a surprise to take her to Masraff's for which she had never been.  It was beyond are expectations.  The restaurant is absolutely stunning.  Love the decor!  We arrived early for our reservation and we decided to have a drink at the bar.  The bartenders were nice and efficient and made us feel at home. Really enjoyed our time there and like the restaurant, the bar is stunning.  Then it was time for dinner.  Our waitress was fantastic.  Gave us great service and was very personable which made our dining experience even more memorable.  We started off with the foie gras which was delicious.  It's been awhile since I had foie gras and I was extremely pleased.  Highly recommend!  For our main coarse,  I had the risotto which was superb.  Another dish that I haven't had in a while!  Awesome.  My girlfriend had the blackened red fish which was delicious.  We both agreed it was very good!  We paired our meal with a bottle of flowers Chardonnay which was perfect.  For dessert we split the sticky toffee bread pudding which was to die for.  We were so impressed with our dinner and service that asked to see the manager.  I told him much we enjoyed our dinner and how much we enjoyed our server.  I highly recommend Masraff's!  It's a fun restaurant and again thank you to the staff for making our dinner memorable.  One last thing, they do have valet parking which is great!  Also, it's close to the galleria!  Will be back. Wonderful date night!! We had a very attentive waiter who took pride in knowing everything about the menu items. Hubby had the pork tomahawk and I had the halibut - amazing food. The OWNER Tony Masraff came by every table in our section to check on us and chat. He is the sweetest person and takes great pride in his restaurant! I went for restaurant week but I would definitely want to go back for dinner. The food was amazing and the ambiance was really nice. We had the diver scallop that my bf raves about for weeks and it lived up to the hype. Everything else was super tasty too. It's one of those new American restaurants but all of the flavors paired so well together it tasted like something totally new and amazing. One of the better places I've been to in Houston. All around delightful evening. Extensive wine list at all price points. Note that the actual menu may be different than the online menu, because they use the best available fresh ingredients. Perfect ambiance - not too loud like so many other restaurants where you cannot hear your dinner partner speak - but a nice buzz. You feel valued - the owner stopped by our table to say hello. My husband and I were able to pop in for a last minute date night. Tom our host was super accommodating not only to take our picture, but to make sure we got a good one. The food was amazing! Masraff's never disappoints! Everything here is delicious, and the service is always exceptionally attentive. The risottos are really good, and my favorite is the duck ravioli. Seafood is always fresh.

This is the best restaurant I have eaten at in Houston. Every dish I had from the unbelievable crap cake to the Tile Fish and Alaskan Salmon was perfectly prepared and extremely tasty. We dined at the restaurant during Houston Restaurant Weeks. The menu offered many selections well worth the price. We made reservations for our large party and were served like royalty.
