Not only did I get the opportunity to take my senior pictures with Mary, but I have also been a model for her. She has many strengths that every photographer needs to have: a good camera, sense of lighting, and artistic ability. But something you wouldn't expect is how genuinely kind, but honest she is. She will make sure you have the best pictures possible, while telling you how your eyes look good in some light, or how your smile is shinning in the shot she is taking. After admiring her work through social media for quite some time, I bit the bullet and contacted Mary about taking our engagement photos. I knew that I wanted a style that was as unique as our relationship and Mary's talent hit the nail on the head. We corresponded frequently and met up for coffee to finalize details - such a warm, vibrant personality - and it flows through her photography. On the day of our engagement photos - Mary had some obstacles thrown in her way and overcame them with finesse. She's such a natural - I can't speak highly enough of her or her work. As an avid photographer myself, I was nervous about being in front of the camera - but Mary's humor and light-hearted nature made me feel right at home in front of her lens. Her editing turn around time was lightning fast - and we were thrilled with the final images. I cannot wait for her to photograph our wedding this fall.
