I offer mental health services which include the treatment of anxiety, depression, couple and marital counseling, personality problems and other emotional issues in relationships with family, work, and personal problems related to developmental issues in one's life.
I utilize individual therapy techniques, tasks in changing behavior, and prescriptive readings related to problems. This is offered in a collaborative relationship which uses humor and perspective on all of the stresses and issues that life throws at us.
I try to understand a person's early family experience and social context, which can bring them to the cognitive distortions or conclusions about themselves.
We work on these ideas which may not be useful or helpful in relating in the broader aspects of life, which include self-understanding, love, work, and larger social encounters in the world.
