We didn't have anything just spectacular since we are dieting but the Greek salad was good, I love that they have diet options as that is something that's hard to find in South Mississippi. My Husband had a turkey sandwich that was good. The bread (I believe) is homemade and taste so good, atleast the wheat bread was. You get a slice with your salad as well. Service was good and attentive even though we sat outside they didn't forget about us! Oh yeah, I had the cinnamon apple tea. I would have selected a regular tea but I wanted decaf. While the tea was good the water was definitely city water and altered the taste. I wouldn't order it or any herbal teas again because of this but I will try a black tea next time. More...

Good food and probably my favorite tasting cake in the area!! The custom cakes are pricey in my opinion, but every dessert I've tried has been soooo delicious! They did a beautiful job setting up for my friend's baby shower, too. It looked like it was done with a lot of thought and care. Everyone appreciated it. As a salesman I eat out 4-5 days per week all over the Ms. Gulf coast from Picayune to Moss Point and LOVE to try new restaurants or different dishes from my standard haunts. However, Martha's doesn't allow for this option. The Cashew Chicken Salad on Croissant with a cup of gumbo is so good, that its the only thing i've ordered for the last 15 years!!!! I'm a southern born, raised and 'hell'ed to high standards when it comes to eatin' good southern stuff! My wife loves this place, and, well, so do I. In a really small space for a restaurant, this place delivers on its food varieties, mostly in the form of salads, sandwiches, and soups. While I have previously avoided any foods that sounded feminine, this place delivers on some great tasting all of the above. The crabmeat au gratin is divine! Simply amazing! Everything I tried was absolutely delicious.  From their classic side salad with homemade ranch to the most moist and perfectly prepared croissant filled with a perfectly blended cashew chicken salad prepared fresh and all homemade. Did I mention the dessert selection! Oh my! I can't even begin to express the overwhelming sensation of happiness upon taking my first bite of their homemade strawberry cake. Hands down the best cake I have ever had. Last but definitely not least was the relaxing atmosphere  and the welcoming feeling upon entering. Customer service was superb! Martha's Tea Room will from now on be our little slice of heaven nestled in the heart of Ocean Springs.I'm definitely looking forward to returning soon to try more of their amazing selections of soups, salads and sandwhiches.... not to mention desserts!! I also asked if they took orders for entire cakes for events and after our server went to the kitchen and asked I was very excited to hear that they would. I also tried their pineapple coconut cake which was very light, not overly sweet and had a perfect blend of flavor. I will not lie, I did not expect much when my friend asked me to go here for lunch but I am so happy I gave it a try. Definitely one of my top contenders for favorite! Pleasant lunch experience. I recently had lunch at this quaint little restaurant in Ocean Springs. The atmosphere was charming and clean, the staff was very attentive and efficient and the food was delicious. The "Ocean Springer" sandwich was fresh and tasty - especially the wonderful bread it was served on. Good Food, Not really for tea. Martha's chicken salad sandwich is simply the best and the whole wheat bread they serve puts it over the top. I order this every time I go (I am not a seafood eater, so this eliminates 90% of the menu for me). Their white chocolate bread pudding is also a one-of-a-kind dessert. Actually, their whole dessert menu, which changes daily, is delicious. I always had a good experience here, whether with a large group (10 people) or just meeting a friend. The staff is friendly, serves in a reasonable time, and helpful with questions about the menu. The menu is not vegetarian or specialty diet friendly, unfortunately, but the staff is willing to perform slight modifications by request. They were always accommodating of my infant, too. I recommend reservations if you are going in the 11-12 time frame. The only downside to this place is the misleading name. While they do serve tea, their tea menu is sadly lacking (a standard grocery store shelf has more options). There are no decaf teas available and their "tea" is largely tisanes (aka herbal tea). They also vary which brands they carry, making for an inconsistent tea drinking experience. Overall, go for the fabulous food and dessert but don't expect tea service. More...

Great for professional adults. Martha's has always been a local favorite - one we don't necessarily share with out of towners. A great business lunch meeting place. Not great for children, but they are welcome. A very relaxed atmosphere, and dare I say, quaint. The food is very good - everything made from scratch (even the bread). The white chocolate bread pudding and fresh coconut cake are big favorites. Some dishes I prefer over others, but I can say that about any restaurant. If you have rowdy children, maybe take them the Chick Fil A or McDonalds. They and you will have a better time.
