Why is it so important for businesses to hire a great accountant?
Every business, big or small, needs to hire an accountant to protect the financial integrity of the organisation. Many business owners think that with the assistance of handy software such as QuickBooks, they can personally handle the accounting, and truth be told, that is the biggest mistake a business owner can make.
When business owners decide not to hire an accountant they are usually motivated by the savings they think they will achieve, but fact of the matter is a good accountant can be one of the most worthwhile investments made in the business, and in the end can actually end up saving the company money.
Hiring the right accountant can be a valuable asset to your business, no matter how small, and can provide many benefits at various stages of growth.
What do you love most about your job?
I love watching companies grow. I also love helping aid in the process of the growth by being the knowledgeable person for the accounting.
What inspired you to start your own business?
There were several reasons I started my own business. To break it all down my passion in helping businesses and individuals is the biggest drive I have. I want to be able to be different than most CPA firms because I believe in innovation and changing with current times. I wanted to be centered on affordable prices and quality solutions. When I looked into my industry I saw that there were many CPA firms overcharging for services that would not take as long as the dollar amount they suggested. They were also not being innovative enough to add in technology like most of the clients were doing. Another reason was I did not want to end up like most professionals after working 15-20 years. I did not want to be that 40/50 year old saying what did I accomplish so far. Nor did I want to be that age telling someone I wished I would have started a business in my 20's. After seeing so many people laid off based on age and people having the previous thoughts I mentioned along with my passion I wanted to combine all that and be there for the companies wanting to grow as well as the individuals who needed guidance on business.
