Editing my review to add words ha- if you're looking for someone to sit down with and talk about all concerns questions you have about raw feeding, transitioning etc stop by here. My husband and I dropped by and ended up there for probably a good hour. We also left with some pamphlets that served as a good reminder of how to transition to raw. We have 4 cats(no pups), they're going to take a lot of time to get fully raw, but two of them took right to the raw super food as treats(God forbid they be easy and ever take more than one willing bite of new food). Their prices are really good as well, before stopping in I looked around online, if you're in Sarasota this is the way to go if you're looking for a more affordable balanced raw food. Thank you for commenting on this Carol, I forgot to come back and add actual words to my review. We'll drop by sometime in the new year and pick up more raw food. :) for now since they only take one tiny bite they're getting regular raw until we can get back in. I was looking for a way to feed my animals raw, and I couldn't believe my luck when I was doing research and found that Marlin's Raw Superfood for Pets had just opened. The prices are very reasonable, especially when you compare them to delivery raw. Since I've been feeding my animals the raw, the difference in their coats, muscle tone and general demeanor has been nothing short of remarkable. Weekly shopper here with a boxer and 2 cocker spaniels! Staff is super nice and knowledgeable! My dogs love their raw diets and it shows! Small poops and shine like they're glowing! Had my first visit at Marlins with my Frenchie with me. Spoke to a lovely young woman to learn about raw feeding and its benefits. I learned so much and the young woman was very knowledgeable and took her time with me so that I truly understood the benefits of feeding raw. She gave me homework also ! Lol ! I have been feeding my dogs (7) raw for some time now but have always had trouble getting my shipments on time. I read about Marlin's at the vet's office where I spend a lot of time with 5 seniors. We have a 10 year old Jack Russell named Bullet with a pinched nerve in his back. He had been acting sluggish, not wanting to get out of bed, and his appetite had slowly decreased. We took him to the vet unsure of what the issue was, but were only suggested medications. His condition started to worsen, two different friends referred us to Dr. Mark D’Amato for chiropractic work. Knowing the other option would be surgery, we decided to go to Dr. D’Amato since we would rather go the natural route. Bullet has had a few treatments now and is feeling much better! He’s eating normally and trying to play and run although, we are really trying to keep that to a minimum! He also loves the lamb lung treats, of course I needed to get some for him! We can’t afford to fully raw reed all four of our cats but they love the raw food as a snack. I need to go back and buy more since Irma had our power out for a week. Mark and Carol are so nice!
