What do I love about marketing?
You can never be bored. It encompasses the creative (website, graphic and content design), the geek (analytics and data science), technology (endless tools, apps, programs) and hashtag#psychology (what makes people do what they do, when they do it, how they do it and where they do it). It's powerful - you can change behavior and opinion. It's everywhere.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I worked very hard in corporate and did not want to limit my abilities or lifestyle based on structures were defined by an hourly or salaried rate. I am very organized and disciplined which are two qualities you need to work on your own. I also am a "finisher" meaning I complete projects that I start. Many people are good at starting projects but lose momentum, energy or resources. I am one of those people that plans ahead to keep the momentum and energy going and allocate resources in order to complete the project.
