What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
I think knowing who you’re taking photos of and knowing what makes their relationship special is the key! It makes the client more comfortable, and the photographer more intentional about what they are capturing!
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
Aside from all the wedding/ engagement details, I want to know what they are looking for in a photographer, what part of their wedding they are most excited about, and just random questions about their relationship! The more I know the better :)
What do you love most about your job?
Becoming friends with my couples and being able to help them revive their wedding day through their photos.
What inspired you to start your own business?
It just kind of happened for me! I started taking photos 6 years ago and as I’ve gotten better, people just keep finding me! I think what inspires me to maintain my business is my clients. They are so fun!
Why should our clients choose you?
Because I love what I do more than anything in the world. I’m not a photographer for the money, I’m in it because I think a photographer can make or break the biggest day of your life. When all the decorations are thrown away and the day is over, the only tangible things you get to keep is your wedding photos, your husband/wife, and the rings on your fingers. Being the person that helps people hold onto memories brings me more joy then anything.
