Marisa is an absolutely amazing person and photographer!! I admired her from a far at first but soon she came over to my camp at a festival. She got to know everyone and was incredibly pleasant. Marisa came to two of my workshops at Lucidity Festivals to take pictures of the class. The conditions were not easy -- the participants were close together, it was later in the day and it was cold -- but she worked around all the challenges beautifully and delivered beautiful pictures are a very affordable price. I would recommend her to anyone!

We just got our wedding photos and they are gorgeous. I'm not really comfortable being photographed, but Marisa is so easy going and friendly that it was a total breeze. I appreciated that Marisa was curious to know all about me and my husband, as well as our relationships to our family and friends so that she could take pictures that would feel like "us," and not just your typical staged photo. We had the honor of Marisa (Eyerise Photography) photographing our wedding last June. We decided that Marisa was the right photographer for us when we were attending another friends wedding. Watching her work was a joy, truly effortless. She was so attentive and not imposing nor distracting to the important event happening before us.
My husband and I are both fans of Marisa's ability to capture the essence of an event, a day, a smile, a friendship. Rather then wanting pretty pictures of us posing, we asked Marisa to capture the day in its entirety. When we looked back at our wedding photos we wanted to be transported to that day, remember our guests, the music, the weather, all the laughs, and Marisa did not disappoint . She was so wonderful to work with, she was a joy to have around, she captured so many sweet moments , and neither of us felt like we were having our photographs taken the whole day.

Marisa is an amazing photographer and person. We took engagement photos at my fiancé’s house and in the park where he proposed and she was able to make two very camera shy people super comfortable.
