We chose the Japanese menu and catered for 20. Also added andagi (okinawan fried donuts) and ube  tarts (purple sweet potato) to the spread. The sashimi was fresh, everything was delicious. Nicole was friendly, professional and provided great customer service. It took a lot of the stress away from not having to prepare and cook the food ourselves. We were able to relax and enjoy the company of others. Everyone loved the food and were more than happy to take some home too. I highly recommend them. Sorry, no pictures. I ordered shrimp tempura, vegetable tempura, fried chicken, hot wings, maki sushi and cone sushi. Everything wad very tasty and they called when our order was ready, which was a little before their estimated time

Now, people may only get to enjoy Marian's Catering at funerals, but why wait till then to enjoy their food? Â While quarantining during this coronavirus pandemic, I saw on social media that Marian' s Catering was offering curbside pick-up for their delicious food. Â I placed an online order on Marian's Catering website for their fried noodles, shoyu noodles with pork, fish tempura, maki sushi, and their day-old scouffins variety box. Â Online you can schedule curbside pick-up starting from 11 AM to 4 PM. Â The directions online says to park across the street, but when my husband went to get the order, he called as directed in the confirmation email and someone from Marian's said to just pull-up in the parking lot (same lot as Dot's restaurant) and someone came out with our bagged orders. Â Everything tasted great (and without the guilt and grief of being at a funeral). Â The scouffins (scones and muffins combined) were delicious and following Marian's directions to microwave them for 15 seconds made them seem fresh baked and not day-old at all. Â Of the four scouffins, we were given one chocolate chip, one cranberry, one blueberry, and one plain. Â Next time we order from Marian's we'll be sure to try out the rest of their menu. More...

Something really great out of this covid-19, that my family and I were able to taste the delicious, variety of local foods! Â Thank you for making it convenient for us to pick up the food and we truly appreciate all of you for working and bringing the food to my car for curbside pick up! Huge mahalo to Marians catering for delivering bentos to hospital workers during COVID-19. Â I didn't get a lunch break, but I ate my bento when I got home for dinner and it was amazing. Like many other businesses Marians Catering was affected by the shutdowns due to the COVID-19 but like the old saying goes "every cloud has a silver lining" and the good news is one can still get the same great food as pickup!  I've always been a big fan of their fried chicken and the skin is always nice and crispy with just enough salt.  They have a website set up at my-site-103098.square.si… where one can see all the great food (sweet sour pork, pork guisantes, shrimp tempura, etc) that can be ordered for pickup.  Just a few things to keep in mind is their selection depends on availability so if something you want is out of stock, give it a few days and check back or call them up.  The folks who answer the phone are very helpful.  One think I really like is their MCFried pack and MCPack.  Both are great for pickup and go!  The MCFried is a fried chicken thigh with a musubi with ume.  The MCPack is for healthier appetites with 3 fried chicken thighs, two maki sushi pieces, one inari sushi pieces and a musubi with ume.  But my favorite is their Maki Sushi and it comes in a roll, cut into 8 pieces.  Great for munching as a quick snack or part of a meal.  Check them out! I seriously forgot how much I dread planning events, since it's been 3 years since I had to plan my wedding. We never had a big first birthday party for our youngest son, so we figure that we throw a 'kind of big' party for his second birthday. When you leave your husband in charge of the food, cause that's the least the he could do since you were planning the rest of the party...that allowed him to decide too late on our first choice of caterers & have us scrambling for another one to be available in three weeks of your event. Luckily, we came upon Marians Catering - I know Marians as the 'funeral food' company, cause it seems as if every single funeral that I've been to that serves food after the service and burial, always caters through them. But for the amount of food that you get for the price, I understood why. I always enjoyed their food whenever I did have it, so I had no doubts that the food would be good. When I first called Marians to inquire about their menu and availability, the girl who answered was really helpful with fitting us into their schedule on such short notice, as well as answering any questions that I had. We paid almost half of our total to secure our date, and paid the balance in full a few days later. The day before the party, I got a phone call from them to confirm our menu, date and place of our event to ensure that everything was in place. Since we catered for 100 people, we got free delivery...all the way from Wahiawa to Ewa Beach. Delivery time was set at 11AM & they were already there by 10AM. The guy who delivered as punctual with the delivery and made everything as smooth as can be. FYI, their pork long rice is my fav & for someone who doesn't like teri beef...theirs is pretty good! When there's Marians Catering shrimp tempura... sweet & sour spare ribs... and my all time favorite pork long rice... any get together is a winnah! We all remember the tastes from when we were younger... now that we're older... we bring the tastes back home... by the pan-full... at holiday family dinners. Â That Teri flap meat I brought to work on thanksgiving was definitely one of the faves on the table! When my son graduated high school this past May... we just had to get his favorite foods on the table too! Who said catering from Marians is only limited to large birthday parties or funerals?
