Q&As

I've always loved and knew I wanted to work with dogs, ever since I was born. I originally wanted to become a vet and went to Cal Poly SLO to get my degree in veterinary science. I even worked as a vet tech at multiple different hospitals, but also saw how many dogs were medicated for behavioral issues. That's around when I began my journey into dog training. My favorite part is establishing a line of communication between owner and pet. The relief that training brings to the client and their life is astonishing and I wouldn't trade it for the world.

I've always wanted to start my own dog training business since I entered the industry. However, I finally feel I have enough knowledge and experience to share on my own.

My clients and their dogs are treated as if they were my family. I dedicate most of my time and energy to running my business properly and giving the dogs what they need to succeed long term. My main goal is to train the dog and teach you how to communicate with your dog and maintain that training.

I do not provide online or remote service unless you're interested in a nutrition consultation.

Three weeks is the ideal amount of time for a dog who has little to no behavioral issues and is just starting off on the right foot! During this time, we will establish a good foundation for on and off leash obedience. Includes pick up, drop off, a go home session at drop off, and one follow up session.

Four week board and trains are great for exposing a dog’s on and off leash obedience to new environments. This is a great way to test your dogs skills in public and get him or her ready for your field trips! Includes pick up, drop off, a go home session at drop off, and one follow up session.

Five weeks is a great start for severe behavior modification cases. More time may be necessary depending on how serious the behavioral issues are. Includes pick up, drop off, a go home session at drop off, and one follow up session.

Private sessions are one-on-one sessions where your trainer will address any specific issues you have been having in person. Privates can last anywhere from 30 minutes to 1 hour. Only applicable to those who have already completed a board and train with Mantra K9 Training.

You are what you eat; the same goes for our dogs. When you don’t eat well, you don’t feel well. Again, it is the same for our dogs. Most health issues can be supported if not solved by feeding a biologically appropriate diet. Book a consultation today to find what diet works best for you and your dog!

Nutrition consultations can be booked separately from food transitions. Both are priced at $200 each.
