Manny’s Uptown Tex-Mex Restaurante was founded by Manuel “Manny” Rios in 2005 in the uptown area of Dallas, Texas. Manny is a retired Army veteran. He started his interest in the restaurant business with his sister as a server. After learning the restaurant business, Manny decided it was time to follow his dream of opening his own Tex Mex Restaurant, with traditional family recipes.

I just had the BEST experience! We love Manny's Uptown, eat there regularly. However, with the recent world situation, we have not been able to go. Our cravings won! I called Manny's - Southlake, ordered our "regular", picked it up in 10 minutes!!! Same wonderful smiles, same fast, courteous service, same amazing deliciousness packed in our To-Go bag. My fiancé and I have been coming here for two years and everything we've tried on the menu, we loved. My go-tos are the tilapia filet and grilled chicken breast, and of course the queso flambé. Patron Fajitas - combination of beef, chicken, shrimp, sausage & grilled veggies. Served with rice, beans, guac, crema, pico de gallo, cheese & tortillas.

I personalize every order myself according to my clients schedule.

What inspired you to start your own business?
We have had success with restaurants for years and it was time to grow our services with a catering business.
