I have been going to Manic Training for 4 months now, and continue to feel & see progress with each session. Craig does a great job of motivating everyone while also focusing on form and consistency of each exercise. The wide range of equipment always creates a unique and challenging class. Manic Training is by far the best gym I have ever joined. Each workout is unique and challenging-- requiring strength, agility and endurance. No matter where you're at physically, you can do these workouts (trust me, when I started, my physical fitness dismal at best). I credit that to Craig, who is knowledgeable, motivational, and genuinely cares about the progress of every person. What makes Manic a fantastic workout is the energy level that starts with Craig and his Team of Coaches. The Tribe (me and my colleagues) have been trained to show up, workout hard, and get in a great workout every time. I just need to make it to the door, and it happens. For me at 57 I have been through the bummer of aching knees and back and missing out on things I love. Manic has brought back my pain free running and helped me feel decades younger on the ski slopes. Do yourself and your life a favor, try it for a week and you will never leave!! I have done every type of workout including (most recently) CrossFit and Orange theory- no not simultaneous, I don’t hate myself- and they were both great but I my body has not responded to anything the way it has to Manic. Leaving a gym and people you love is hard but it comes down to what is best for your body and after a year CrossFit was not that for me. Manic is dynamic and oriented around high intensity and agility. I also tap dance and I teach hot yoga so my body is accustomed to many different types of movement, however my stamina has improved significantly just in the last 3.5 months that I’ve been at manic. I put on some weight doing CrossFit which I did not appreciate when I looked in the mirror and I am now loosing on average 3-5 pounds a month and of course I eat very well- consistently enough and allow little indulgences when I want. But really it’s the family and the coaches that make all the difference! Craig is like the uncle you always want around- he’ll always greet you with high five but he has also works hard to encourage a gym culture that values hard work, each other, and that won’t let you slack off or not give your workout and everything else you purse outside of the gym your absolute best. Craig has pulled me aside multiple times, to tell me that my consistency and hard work does not go unnoticed- especially on days where I’m not at 100%. THIS is what makes him an amazing coach. He believes in Manic’s philosophies and program and wants to see it change peoples lives. It has changed mine and it will change yours. I’ve spent 4 hours a week a manic for 3.5 months and my love for the family and the program will only continue to grow. More...

Manic has by far been the best gym to improve my overall fitness. It challenges strength, endurance, agility, balance, and mobility in every workout. It is always an hour well spent. Aside from feeling physically stronger after just a few months, it has made me mentally stronger both inside and outside the gym. It has showed me I can push myself much farther than I ever imagined. Manic training has transformed my life both physically and mentally. When I began my free trial, I hadn't worked out since I was a kid and my age was starting to take its effect on my body. Everyday life activities and increased work stress seemed to consume all my energy. The coaching and support I got from Manic staff and its members made me feel comfortable and kept me coming back for more. The variety of workouts and unique exercises has conditioned my entire body and has kept me excited about going to the gym. I absolutely love coming to Manic! Everyone is extremely friendly and Craig (owner) is great at pushing you beyond what you think you can do. The class workouts are always different and challenging. If you get bored here then something is wrong with you or you aren't trying hard enough. I've learned to "enjoy" some workouts that I used to absolutely hate. I look forward to my manic workout and never leave disappointed. It’s a different workout every time - always challenging and never boring. It’s a class and there is structure but you make it fit your needs and your goals. You decide if you want to lift heavy or lighter. You decide if you want to move super fast or slow it down. If it’s too challenging the trainers will help you modify. If you want to challenge yourself even more you can do that too. The members are friendly, welcoming and supportive. The trainers want to help you and see you grow and succeed. The owner, Craig, is dedicated to helping his manic tribe make fitness a lifestyle. In addition to making sure his members have a great work out at the gym, Craig always has the manic tribe involved in different challenges like races, obstacle courses, hikes etc. You decide if you want to be involved or not. Wow, what can I say about Manic?! First of all, I LOVE it. I honestly wasn’t sure I would. My expectation was that it was going to be really competitive, overly intense and intimidating. I was so very wrong. Manic is intense - but in the best way - the workouts are hard! It’s always challenging and always different. The energy in the gym is far from intimidating - it is supportive and positive. I walked in on my first day and everyone was gathered in a circle talking to the instructor - they all turned to welcome me and say hello. I love that I can tailor the workout to me... I have strong areas and weak areas that need work...but I’m not competing with anyone but me. Did I say there are no mirrors - I can’t tell you how nice this is. It’s the first gym I’ve ever been in that didn’t have them and until now I didn’t realize how distracting my own image was haha. Gone are the days that I worry about what I’m wearing or how I look while I’m working out. Craig is a stickler for form which has helped me immensely and helped with the years of back pain I’ve experienced. I was a bit nervous moving to Fort Collins and having to find a new gym with a solid group of people to surround myself with. After doing my research and going to some trial classes, there was not a doubt in my mind that Manic Training was for me. Craig and all of the other trainers there are very supportive and took the time to get to know me. The other members of the gym were also very welcoming which was great coming to a new town where I didn't know anyone. The gym is not only great for the support group, but for the freakin results you get. I was at a decent weight before and after just 2 months working with Craig and the rest of the team, I have seen a major difference with my appearance and the way I feel. I have a toned stomach which hasn't been there in several years. I have way more endurance and strength to get through work, a long hike, or some climbing. I joined Manic a little over six months ago. I can't say enough about how amazing this place has been for me. I thought that I was in decent shape prior to becoming a Manic family member; I was actively doing strength and cardio work, a runner, a yoga instructor. I have made so many gains in such a short time physically, but I am most proud of the mental strength I've acquired. Manic is so much more than just a "gym". Their motto: Ready For Life is truly what it's all about. Putting in the work in the gym, to be able to do the things you want to do outside the gym. The community is amazing. Great workouts that are well coached with exercises that balance strength and stamina incorporated into functional movements. The start of each workout is a solid 10 mins or so of warm-up exercises... which sometimes feel like a workout in itself! This ensures you are well-prepared body and mind for the remainder of the workout. The workouts are always varied and challenging, but with flexibility to handle all levels of fitness and to provide alternative movements for those with injuries. Highly recommended. More...

I hope busy mom's read this review because MANIC TRAINING IS the gym for everyone and ESPECIALLY us busy mom's! I see woman all over town dressed in their workout clothes. . either going to or from their gym and I literally want to run up to every one of them and say "YOU MUST GO TO MANIC TRAINING! YOU ARE WASTING YOUR PRECIOUS TIME EVERYWHERE ELSE!"...Unlike other gyms, At MANIC TRAINING ...you do a DIFFERENT WORKOUT everytime you go...what mom and wife has the time to invent and change up our workout to benefit our entire body 3 times a week?! Craig...the owner and coach creates different amazing HIIT workouts every week! Craig is the perfect balance of authority and care and concern...which makes you respect him, the workout, and the entire dynamic of MANIC TRAINING immensely. At a typical gym...you must pay extra to receive training and assistance from a personal trainer...not at MANIC TRAINING...every workout, a trainer...mainly CRAIG...is there to help and assist and guide you in every workout to only benefit yourself to workout safe and be stronger! The group gym classes also provide positive encouragement...everyone at MANIC, regardless if they are super-fit, average, or trying to get in shape...everyone is on the same team...everyone is so kind and encouraging...no mirrors in the gym...no egos! This place has opened up my eyes to a whole new take on fitness. It's a functional method that translates into my day to day. I'm a Dad and a handyman and Manic enables me to be present and keep up with what evers thrown at me. I also love running and this year plan to due my first ultra marathon and have no doubt that the base built at Manic will enable me to crush this goal and stay strong on those mountain trail runs. I have been with Manic for 8 months now and it has been the most wonderful gift to myself and in my journey to better health. The owner/trainer, Craig is the best trainer I have had the pleasure of working with. His ever watchful eye catches things I need to change and modifies workouts when my prior injuries flare up. I appreciate the fact that he is organized and punctual, and direct in giving instructions for the workouts. I love that he is an example of what he trains and when he works out along beside the team, I personally am encouraged. The workouts are tough. Period. I have found that with these workouts, I haven't only gained strength physically, but mentally and emotionally. My balance and endurance is getting better and it will continue to do so. This year is the first year that I have done 5K obstacle races, and 2 1/2 years after my heart attack that I have gotten back into running, without fear. I honestly have to say, I never would have done this if I hadn't had the training that I do at Manic nor the support that I get from the members of the gym. I love the feeling of walking through the door as it feels like I am coming home to see family and friends. There is no competition at Manic as we are all on the same team grinding out the same workout, just on our own levels hoping to do better than we did the day before. ❤️ Heartfelt Inspiration!! Manic is not just any gym! It has made me stronger physically, mentally and especially spiritually! Every week we get to try out new and exciting ways to challenge ourselves! The MANIC TEAM we have is priceless! The suppprt we have for eachother at each workout is truly amazing! My husband and I go together 3 X’s a week. It feels good to have my life partner with me encouraging one another and meeting goals in the gym to be ready for life outside the gym!
