Where do I start with this photographer...

When we saw the work Mandy did, in the way she captured infants to pure perfection, we knew our daughter would be lucky enough to have her milestones done for just a brief moment in her life. At first I was hesitant because it was so much money, but then I thought "you may regret this and can never get back these moments." I purchased 2 BOGO sessions from Mandy, paid up front $760 and received as a gift another $380 session from my MIL. I was beyond excited, along with my husband, to have such professional photos done of our daughter which we could show family and friends who are all hundreds of miles away. When I look at reviews on this page, I am reminded of how people can look at some points in their lives - happy and successful. The part of Mandy's life I received was dark and haunted.

I had no idea that she was in such a financial crisis in her personal life, as well as the backlog of clients she had, until after we paid everything up front. I learned the hard way that you should always do your homework on those you pay up front and also, don't trust old reviews. I found she was foreclosed on in court the month she began offering her BOGO sessions. At my daughter's 9 month photo session, Mandy mentioned she had 90 sessions to deliver still. I was hopeful and pleasant to Mandy because she held my little baby girl's photos in her camera and all the money I paid up front. I received only one set of photos from the three scheduled session, in which my daughter's 12 month shoot she was a no show. At that point I became frustrated and disappointed that I was probably going to never see those photos. I asked her for our photos and money back and have not heard from her since - that was a year and a half ago. I went to court, won my judgement, went back to court to claim any assets and found out she doesn't have any. As a fellow photographer I am pretty picky about who I let photograph my family including my fur baby! A few years ago as soon as I saw her AMAZING work I knew I was going to book her for my maternity and newborn photos! (That is about a year or two down the road still.) However when I decided to keep a puppy from our dog's litter, I knew that I just had to get newborn photos of her, and who better than the wonderful Mandy who I would want to take photos of my newborn baby one day?! ❤️ Mandy is such a sweet person and so incredibly professional! I contacted Mandy Clark late into my first pregnancy, not completely knowing what to expect, but knowing I desperately wanted high quality newborn (and milestone) pictures of our little girl. Having looked at her galleries online, I knew it was the style I was looking for. What I wasn't prepared for, was how personal, professional, compassionate, and kind she was going to be. She strives to build a relationship with her clients, as it helps her to create more meaningful photos to last a lifetime. She has become not only our go-to photographer, but a friend. She is one of the most incredible human beings I have ever known. She values hard work, dedication to her craft, and is unwilling to settle for anything but exceptional.I cannot say enough good things about Mandy Clark, and her team. For what she provides to families, she could easily charge 3-5x what she does, but she wants all families, of all abilities, to have access to these precious images (and memories). She brings me to tears every time she sends our one of our galleries. They aren't just pictures, they are moments I will never get back. We have been using Mandy for our son's milestone photos and she is amazing. Mandy and her staff are kind and are truly passionate about their jobs. My son is not the easiest baby to get to smile, but Mandy always brings our his happy side. Mandy takes time to make sure everything is just perfect from the outfits, props, backdrops and lights. Once my child was mobile she used that to her benefit and incorporated him crawling into the photo shoot. Some of the best pictures are the ones that just "happen". I found Mandy’s work long before I was thinking of becoming a mom. As soon as I found out I was pregnant I booked her. She took her time posing my child and making sure every detail was perfect. After seeing the final product, I knew Mandy would be the family photographer. I booked my daughters Milestones with her and continue to do all Family, and Holiday sessions with her. Mandy will not just be a photographer to me, but a part of my family, who is always there to catch the magic as my child grows. More...
