Mamey Mami brings Miami flavors to the Los Angeles area. From our food truck, we sell sandwiches, loaded fries, sides, milkshakes, and Miami sodas from our regular menu. For catering, we also offer rice dishes, meats, salads, empanadas, arepas, Cuban tamales, and various appetizers.

The catering experience I had, working with Mamey Mami, was wonderful, easy, and truly pleasant in every respect. The owner and caterer, Christopher, worked with me and my budget to provide a truly personalized gourmet experience. From the moment he arrived, he went above and beyond to cater an amazing meal to my school staff, which delivered not only an authentic medley of Miami, Cuban, and other cultural flavors, it enhanced comfort and enjoyment for everyone who had the honor of being present that day. My colleagues and I found ourselves joyfully commenting on each dish provided. The flavors inspired conversations and appreciation for what felt like a home cooked meal made with love. What’s your signature dish?
Cuban sandwich for lunch. Arroz imperial (chicken, rice, and cheese dish) for dinner.
How do you go about creating the perfect menu for your clients?
We speak with our guests to get a sense of what they are looking for, and we propose items that are true to our Miami roots.
What do you love most about your job?
Cooking is a phenomenal creative outlet that allows for experimentation and innovation. If you do cooking right, you'll never get bored. After cooking, the best part of this work is seeing our guests enjoy our food.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I wanted to have a restaurant since high school. Mamey Mami allows me to showcase some of the flavors I grew up with.
Why should our clients choose you?
If our menu options bring you nostalgia or if you want to try something new, Mamey Mami is it.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
We are serious about customer safety. Our team is vaccinated and happy to wear a face mask when indoors with guests.
