We hired Doris to do my daughter's hair and makeup for her senior portraits. The entire experience was INCREDIBLE. She responded quickly to our request and made it super easy to work out the details. She met us at our location, and even though it wasn't an ideal setup, she made it work.  Doris worked with my daughter on what she wanted for the hair style and makeup, and the results were AMAZING! Loved my entire experience with Doris. She responded very promptly to all my messages and calls from beginning to end. She was very flexible to my schedule. She listened to my worries and concerns in regards to my waist length hair and the fact that I am not used to wearing alot of make-up. Doris was our makeup artist at a photo shoot for jazzercise. It was my first time to be a model for jazzercise and was very nervous!  As I getting makeup, she chatted with me casually and friendly. I first contacted Doris looking for someone to do my Prom makeup. She responded quickly and was flexible on the specific time that I had asked for. I showed her the makeup and hair looks that I wanted and she replicated them both...and it looked PHENOMENAL. Doris is an outstanding makeup artist! She exceeded my expectations in doing my makeup for a special occasion. She selected colors that were very flattering to me and made me look years younger. She is very meticulous and exacting. She takes great pride in her work. She also did my hair for me since the style that I had wasn't flattering. She gave me advice on what to wear as well. Doris is very personable, a great connector of people and makes sure that you look the best that you can be for any special event. I would use her again and recommend her to friends and family. Doris is a lifesaver! I was referred to her by my sister-in-law. She and her best friend hired Doris for both of their wedding day make-up and hair. Both had raving reviews about her. However, I ended up doing a trial and booked a different hair/makeup artist. The night before the wedding, he called to cancel because he was 'busy with another job'. I was furious but I needed to find someone else to do my makeup/hair. I called Doris and she was the sweetest. Luckily, she only had one early morning appointment and was able to come to the hotel right after to do mine as well as 4 other girls' makeup just in time for the wedding. Even though it was the first time I met her, she made the whole experience comfortable and fun. Since I didn't get to do a trial run with her, she only had pictures to go off of for the look I wanted. Well, she was absolutely amazing! My makeup and up-do hair were better than the trial I had with the original person I hired. I was so impressed with the flawless, natural wedding look she created. I have gotten make-up done multiple times in the past for events and friend's weddings, but the make-up by Doris was honestly the best I've ever had. I highly recommend her!!! I wanted to go all-out for Halloween, and I hired Doris Lew to do my makeup for my scary dead skull costume.  From the very start of my interactions with Doris, she communicated clearly and quickly to make sure all my concerns were addressed.  In preparation for Halloween, Doris made sure I knew exactly what I needed to bring.<br><br>On Halloween, I met with Doris, and she did an ABSOLUTELY AMAZING job on my makeup!  I looked totally creepy, and even my closest friends did not know it was me!  My costume was a major hit, and every single person I ran into commented on how awesome my makeup looked.<br><br>In summary, Doris did a GREAT job, I will definitely contact her again if I want to do more makeup for an event, and yes, I will refer her to any friends that want a very well-done, professional makeup job done.  Thank you Doris! I wish I was reviewing Doris for her work. I had gotten in touch with Doris to do a make-up lesson with my boyfriend's sister who just graduated from beauty school and is working towards becoming a professional make-up artist. Looking at her work on her site, it was evident that Doris had a lot of experience and talent - someone I felt would be a great mentor/role model. She responded to me immediately after I sent an inquiry to her through her website. We made arrangements for a Saturday, but she later contacted me to reschedule because her husband had booked a vacation for them that same weekend. <br><br>It was challenging in itself to find a weekend when my boyfriend's sister and her stepmom were both available, and I was embarrassed as this was the second time a make-up artist had something come up on the day of our appointment.
