Makeup with Jossy

Jossy is the best! She did my makeup for my rehearsal dinner and wedding, as well as for my sister-in-law's wedding. Jossy was very thorough in making sure she understood the vibe I was looking for, but I also let her do her thing and there were no regrets! She is very creative and comes prepared. She took time (esp. on my wedding day) to make sure my eyes weren't puffy and there were no dry spots on my face. We used individual fake lashes which I loved. My makeup lasted all night! She is so thoughtful and even wrapped up an extra makeup sponge with some powder on it in case I needed a spot touch up. Jossy is the best there is!!!! Let's start with the ease of booking an appointment. She is very responsive and will work with your schedule. Second, her customer service while doing your face is on point! She is professional, sweet, easy to talk to...it's like we've known each other for years (I found her on Yelp). She came to my house and she got right to business! She carries an ENTIRE studio with her! I'm not kidding! Her studio on wheels is so well organized that she can set it up in about 5 minutes with the products she will use for your face. Oily skin, combo, dry, allergies, cruelty-free...she has something for everybody! Now, let's talk about her makeup brushes. OMG they are like feathers! Sooo relaxing! And last but not least her makeup application....there are NO words! I looked like the prettiest version of myself. It wasn't too much, it wasn't too little, it truly was just right. Jossy is absolutely amazing. She brought everything you could possibly need over to my house, got setup and right into a lesson. She taught me how to do a very subtle contour by doing one side of my face while explaining everything so that I could do the other side. Then she did a beautiful blended sparkly eye. She also taught me how to do a really simple eyeliner trick to get the cat eye effect. She was such a sweetheart and I would highly recommend her if you need a lesson or makeup for an event. More...
