Update: she drove probably 1 hour 1/2 for my wedding!
! my wedding make up was stunning, not only did she follow us from hotel to venue to finish she stayed till about a hour before and she made sure we were all perfect!!! She even went back to fix anything that might of rubbed off that morning!! Her make up lasted all night through everything! I will be calling Melissa back if I ever need make up again!

I don't think I can say enough positive things! Melissa did makeup for me and my three bridesmaids on my wedding day. I had many guests comment on how flattering our makeup looked. She also did a trial run for me to find out which look worked best, and she got me looking great for my bridal shoot last spring. Each time I've worked with her she has been prompt, attentive, and professional. She really worked to make sure I got the look I wanted and it was very easy to communicate with her. I'm having a destination wedding and was just lost as to what I was going to do about my face!! I'm pretty plain on a daily basis and don't know much about color schemes, staying power, what's good for my skin, what works/what doesn't, etc. Melissa kindly came to my apt and helped me out. I gave her a few pictures of what I wanted beforehand. She promptly arrived and set up her workstation. She nailed it! She also helped my future bonus-daughter with a subtle, but glamorous look. The product list and links were thorough and timely. She's given me the power to DIY on my wedding day, which is a huge stress relief! What do you love most about your job?
I love making my clients feel special and happy on their big day. Enhancing my clients natural beauty is something I truly love to do. Seeing their reactions to the final product and hearing about all of the compliments they received, really makes me love what I do. Being able to utilize my talents while helping my clients feel beautiful and more confident, brings me so much joy and satisfaction.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have loved makeup for as long as I remember. After being in banking for 10 years, I decided one day to pursue my passion of all things skin and beauty. I am now living my dream as a freelance makeup artist and my clients inspire every day.
Why should our clients choose you?
I truly love what I do and my work ethic shows it. I enjoy meeting all my brides and I always feel so honored to be a part of their wedding day. Time is of the essence for my clients so I make sure that I'm punctual and quick to respond to their needs. I'm very detailed oriented so I take my time to ensure the outcome is amazing and that my client is 100% happy. If my work is not up to the clients standards, I will go above and beyond to meet their makeup needs.
