My family and I had a great time working with Dina for my sister's wedding! She was so friendly and made sure we all had exactly the look we wanted - if we wanted any changes to our hair or makeup, it was done immediately. She is hands down the easiest person to work with and her kind, professional, enthusiastic spirit makes the experience that much better. Dina is AMAZING! When I say I have NEVER loved my makeup this much -believe me! My main concern was that most makeup artists never got my skin tone right but she NAILED it. Dina did my wedding makeup trial and totally blew me away. I'm very picky with my makeup and am use to it being and looking a certain way, but when I saw what she had done I was thrilled! Her smokey eyes and bronzed look was exactly what I was hoping for, and although I knew I was wearing a lot of makeup, it didn't look caked on at all. Perfection! What really got me is when she took some pictures to see how it would photograph -- my skin and makeup looked flawless, almost as if I'd been photoshopped (in a good way!). Dina has been doing my makeup for a few years now. She always does a wonderful job and is very professional. If she says she is going to be there at 2pm, she will be there at 2pm. Dina is awesome. I try not to give 5 stars across the board when reviewing someone, because I know some people may think it's dishonest, but Dina and her team truly do deserve it! My original make up artist cancelled three weeks before my wedding and I was scrambling to find a replacement. I had already had a very difficult time finding a hair and makeup person in the first place because my bridal party was very diverse and I needed someone that could work with all skin tones and hair textures. Well Dina and her team delivered ten fold! As you can see from the pictures her team was able to work on all of us without issue and she is so easy to talk to and communicate with. I had a Valentines date and last minute my boyfriend decided to surprise me by taking me to a really nice place! It's our first official Valentines together so I wanted to look extra nice. I reached out to Dina and THANKFULLY she had availability. I told her my timeline and she got my makeup done, looking great, and I even still had time to go home and get my stuff together for my date. She had great music playing and made me feel comfortable the whole time. She knows what she's doing so she makes the process seem effortless. I was very impressed by her extensive selection and was sure to keep to the style I liked. She even did check ins to ensure that I was liking how the look was turning out and if I wanted anything adjusted she was open to it. It has always been hard for me to get my makeup done professionally because for some reason, my shade of skin isn't a single foundation and sometimes makeup artists either choose the wrong foundation color, or they charge more since they have to mix colors, but Dina didn't even bat an eye and gave me a GREAT foundation that looked like me. Dina was wonderful! She was professional and very understanding when I was running late to my appointment due to my prior appointment running over. I really liked her studio, very chic. The entire ambiance was relaxing yet energizing. The music she played was great. I had a lot of ideas for my makeup and Dina did a great job at taking my ideas and making them real. I was going for a 60s mod look and she did a great job with giving me that look. My only complaint which may be a personal preference is that I felt my face makeup was a bit lighter than my skin tone. Dina is absolutely amazing. I'm so happy I found her for my wedding, she is seriously unlike other artists. I showed her one or two pictures of what I kind of wanted and she delivered. It was better than I envisioned. Everyone complimented my makeup all night (both at the wedding and after my initial trial). I would have Dina do my makeup everyday if I could. Dina did my makeup for a Christmas photo shoot. I booked Dina because of her amazing reviews - and she did not let me down. I wear minimal makeup and usually have no clue what I'm doing. I fully trusted Dina to apply as necessary. I came out looking professional and glam. I'm very happy with the results. Dina's studio is conveniently located in Fairfax, but her and her crew can come to you. As many have already pointed out, Dina is amazing! She was such a joy to work with, and we are so thrilled so be working with her again soon. My favorite part about Dina: foundation! She applies foundation on clients so beautifully, and evenly. You have a complete contour + highlight, but it looks like your own skin! It is not cakey, or heavy-handed, and lasts all day/night! My skin isn't perfect, but looked completely flawless after she was done! In terms of eyes, she does exactly what you request, and will copy a photo if shown, but will make any changes to better suit your look and eye shape. I have to say that Dina did a phenomenal job on my wedding makeup. I have never had a good experience getting my makeup professionally done, and was initially hesitant to do so. A close friend recommended Dina to me, and I am forever grateful.By showing Dina a few pictures of the look I wanted, it was as if she could read my mind! She did EXACTLY what I wanted, and more. Dina was great to work with! Especially for someone who never wears makeup, she explained the process and reassured me that the look for the ceremony will be clean and won't make me look like a different person (something I was honestly worried about). Dina and one of her team members did my makeup and the makeup for my 6 bridesmaids, they all looked beautiful and loved the way she was able to make me look elegant with primarily neutral colors. After the ceremony Dina worked her magic with Faneela doing my hair and transformed me 180 degrees with a glamorous look that had people gushing when they saw me for the first time. I was and will always be astounded by how quickly Faneela was able to manage and tame my long curly hair and transform it into something beyond my expectations.

Where to begin with Dina.....first off, be prepared to receive compliments left and right, followed by "who did your makeup"? She's not only talented but HONEST!!!!!!! My wedding was this past June of 2017. My first bridal trial I got with Dina, I didn't like the look but loved the application of makeup she did. Something that ladies need to keep in mind is that a look/makup that looks good on another girl won't look as amazing on you because everyone has different eye shape, nose, etc. My first trial look wasn't anything hideous...it was pretty but I didn't feel myself because I chose a bronzey smokey eye look. Personally, I can't pull off that look. I came back for a second trial with Dina and showed her a picture of makeup that I wanted to get done - this look was softer on the eyes but still had volume on lashes. The contour and face work Dina did was magic. It feels like she's putting tons and tons of makeup on you, but once she is done, you will see that it looks so natural, so perfect, and so flawless. You REALLY need to trust her because she takes her time and knows what she's doing. I will guarantee she will not let you down. I was very picky with my makeup and scared because it's so hard finding a decent makeup girl in the DMV area who won't make you look like a clown. That being said....GO TO DINA!!!! My husband and I had a photo shoot done by our great neighbors at Authentic Portrait.  They had asked if I wanted my make up done professionally and I was thinking to myself, why the hell not?  Yolo!  It was the best decision ever!  Dina was extremely professional, asked several questions and got right to it.  She worked with confidence and I never once felt like she didn't know what she was doing.  She was easy to talk to and caught myself a few times trying not to laugh so that my make up  wouldn't mess up thus making me look like a clown.  The experience, technique and value you get from working with Dina is worth so much more than what she charges!  She's a wizard and I will call her when I need a little magic in my life! I've worked as a professional model for 13 years and have worked with countless makeup artists. As a result, I consider myself very picky when it comes to how my makeup looks and know when someone is not doing a good job (with sanitation, contour placement, etc). Of course, I'm going to be even pickier when it comes to how I Look for my wedding. Dina and I first did a trial and let me tell you... Dina is an AMAZING make-up artist. We worked on my look for about an hour on the trial until we perfected it. She truly understands placement and color, which is not an easy task when you're constantly working with new clients. She also works quickly, which is another sign of how talented she is. She applies makeup with the proper tools and knowledge and has great, lightweight lashes. She has a true passion and gift for makeup and I was absolutely amazed with her services. She also knows hair stylists that have worked with her many times. Both she and the hair stylist she knew worked great together and had positive synergy. Because her and I had gone through the trial, the day of flew by and the application was really fast. I was so pleased with my look and the looks of my bridesmaids. There were 7 bridesmaids, myself, my mother and a flower girl and all of us looked amazing.
