I am a private/mobile dog trainer. What does that mean? I come to you! If you are having trouble with your dog listening to you in your home or when out on a walk, I'm your dog trainer. If you don't have time to take your dog or puppy to a facility for training, I'm your trainer.

Paula did a great job training Teddy for five weeks. She's very nice and professional, knows exactly what and how to deal with my Teddy's behavior. On first day they bonded instantly. I’m so happy my Bowie just graduated from Paula’s 5-week class. I got my pup at a year old in March and, although she was basically a good girl with lots of love from the start, she needed to learn obedience. Paula was very patient, especially knowing that Bowie hates the heat and is afraid of most noises, certainly a remnant of her “lost in the city” past. Bowie knows come, come with distractions, sit, stand, down, leave it, heel and stay. We are working on paw. My grandson loved putting a treat on her paw when she was lying down and having her leave it. Paula left me with lots of tools to continue on her journey to become the perfect dog! More...

Paula is amazing and I would highly recommend her to anyone! Not only is she kind and very patient, but she is well trained and knowledgeable. Though Paula always had an outline for the sessions, she was able to tailor the training session to what we needed. We told her what problems we were having (I.e. dog chewing up toilet paper,jumping on guests, etc.) and we would work on it right then. Paula saved me twelve weeks of time and energy. I had just completed the lengthy training process with my golden retriever puppy, visiting training classes once a week, fighting traffic and missing dinner to get there. When it was time to train my second puppy I decided to try out Make Your Dog Happy instead. Within just a few short weeks, in the convenience of my home, Paula quickly trained my new pup to behave to the equivalent of the young pup that had achieved advanced training. Paula came to our house and worked with my husband and I to train our dog Rudy, a 11 month old chocolate lab with lots of energy. After the five week obedience course Rudy can sit, lay down, go to her bed, stay and offer her paw. She can also do loose leash walking much better and now we know how to introduce the dog to visitors without jumping and barking.
